I just look at a calendar before I leave the house. If it's an even number day, I put the turn signal to the left as soon as I get on the highway and LEAVE IT ON.
Odd number days, I put it on to right turn and LEAVE IT ON.
Us old folks love our little pranks.

I can't hear much anymore, so it doesn't bother me a bit.
Ya, I used to be the one behind yelling “get off the road you ole fart”, unfortunately now that’s me! 😔

I wouldn't have thought to post about it, but honestly the blinkers in my 25 are too quiet also. If the radio is on above volume level 4 or 5 I can't hear them. The first couple turns in my 25 I actually had to look down at the gauges to see if the arrows were blinking because i couldn't hear if they were on.

I don't recall this being an issue in my 22, or any car I've ever had for that matter, unless of course I had the radio at a decently loud level where I would expect it to drown out the turn signals. On my new maverick I pretty much have to keep the radio almost off to hear the turn signals.
Thank you for agreeing with me.
I do not even listen to the radio and I still hardly can hear them, the road noise is enough to cover them.
May be we should wire them to the horn which is nice and loud.

A while ago I read a post from someone who found that his tun signal sound was too loud.
Mine I can hardly hear.
Is it a way to adjust the the blinker sound level up?
Thank you and have a blessed day
I wish mine were louder too. In the event of an accident I’d like for them to be audible in my dash cam recording. In case some clown lies and says I wasn’t signaling. As is, sometimes road noise drowns them out.

Looks like in your first sentence that you are going to discuss the signal being too loud then reverse your opinion in second sentence. The change may be caused by AI or someone scanning to verify subject matter that doesn't have time to read entire post???? Might need to just start = "I cannot hear my turn signal".

Then someone would complain that they couldn't tell the left ding from the right ding. So maybe they would want to implement Morse code dinging for all the different dings for all the different pop ups, etc....

Has anyone else noticed that no one who has responded to this thread so far have made any attempt at actually answering the OP’s question?
"Is it a way to adjust the the blinker sound level up?”
NonAnswers=Uggg. :facepalm:

Sorry Frenchy. I have no productive answer for you. I also wish I knew how to change the blinker volume on my truck, my friend.

Maybe we should use the hand signals we learned in drivers-ed ........no mistaking our intentions , or " leaving the blinker on " ....

Well now, It seems that "Frenchy"
derailed his own thread. The bulk of the thread was responding to his post #3.

I remember the gal who claimed she was not signaling a turn but was drying her nail polish. It didn't help, she still got a ticket!

And probably applying it while she’s driving, deserved the ticket!
