I'm sure Ford feels that a 250 horsepower EcoBoost 4 cyl. is perfectly sized for the truck. Forcing anybody wants a V6 to upgrade to a Ranger or F-150.

The question was asked at sema 2025. Ford racing stated the 300t package was there answer for increased performance. Also told there is no possible way any existing v6 and transmission would possibly fit in the engine bay due to emissions package ,engine package ,and transmission package.

That's not the Maverick. The Maverick is about utility and economy. I'm very happy with my hybrid and it's power. And, averaging in the 40s mpg.
Plenty of options for going faster with other vehicles, like my motorcycle.
I had a Ford Courier that had less power AND worse gas mileage although I miss the longer bed. I'm dreaming of a SuperCab.

Well that may be your opinion. Obviously you did not attend sema 2025 with ford racing. Their marketing is quite the contrary of what you're stating. They introduced the lobo. They introduce the 300t package. More performance upgrades in the works. So i'm very confused of your statement.

lol. I'm still somewhat optimistic they'll do an ST model with a 2.3L in the coming years, but it will be spendy.
