Backup camera fix Recall is out now

Those times are not uncommon. Being a retired Ford Master mechanic I ran across this many times....BUT we hooked up our diagnostic tool and went on to other jobs and let it run to completion, checking occasionally for any glitches, therefore the tech was not being cheated by the time differences.

My dealer has a "recall vehicle" and they come right to my driveway if needed.

No. The sale price of 2024 Mavericks today have no bearing on ANY lemon law case in the state of California. Hard stop.

18 months or 18,000 miles
4 or more attempts to fix THE SAME non-safety issue
2 or more attempts to fix THE SAME safety issue
30 or more (combined) days in the shop

If you qualify for 1 of the 3 stipulations and your vehicle is less than 18 months old and less than 18,000 miles on the odometer then you qualify for a lemon law buyback.

If you don't....well, you don't qualify. No ancillary amount of supporting information, especially not the sale price of vehicles, is going to move the needle in your favor. It's really that simple.

Is this about Deep Sleep? Have you tried changing to an AGM battery (dealer unlikely to do this for free) yourself? $150 and a lot less hassle if that is your issue.

The video may freeze or lag, so naturally the fix is to update the audio.

Audio control module has settings and parameters that affect your radio screen and the radio screen is what your backup camera is displayed on. It makes sense to me.

So this back-up camera issue is just on certain builds, not all Mav's, correct?

its on all mavericks. The lariats have an APIM module and an ACM module and likely don't have this back up camera issue because of that. The mavericks that do not have sync only have an ACM module (No APIM).
