So I get this msg from Bell Ford yesterday via text. I had initially stopped at Bell Ford last August, but went with Peoria Ford because Bell was clueless about the Maverick at that time and we had prior dealings with Peoria.
"Hey, c'mon in! We have a Lariat Hybrid in and available!"

We're asking 39K

Look at the window sticker in one of the picks ...........

So if you're in need and don't mind the markup, check them out. It really has a ton of features.
Me, I don't want while, or a moon roof, or the huge price.

So I'm guessing Peoria Ford didn't get the memo from Jim Farley about not adding outrageous dealer ADMs! 🤔 😡

Whoop - There it is!
Peoria did the MSRP pricing plus of course tax, tag, destination.
Came to $36,xxx out the door and $5k on the Fusion, so $31,xxx out of pocket.
What a great ride too, but damn ........ so many electronic things to tweek.
Where's that manual, I gotta start reading!

So what exactly is YOUR dealer saying or not saying to you about YOUR order?
Geez, July .... and others such as I have gotten ours.
Did you even get a notice of build schedule from them?!?
I'd be on that sales manager like flies on stink ......

I've received nothing other than my order conformation email from Ford, the FITS email and recently two emails inviting me to check out the new F150 Lightning! I have reached out to the official Ford Motor Company member (Ford Social Media Team) on MTC and after hearing nothing from them for 2 weeks I contacted them again. They have opened a "ticket" with the New Vehicle Support Team (NVST) given me the ticket number, but no means to contact them, and was assured they (NVST) would contact me about my order. After waiting another 2 weeks and still hearing nothing from NVST I reached out AGAIN to the Ford Social Media Team to let them know I still haven't heard from NVST! Another week has passed, no build date nor contact from NVST. So another MTC member reminded me that someone had contacted Ford's Customer Experience Director and received a build date a week later. Did the Director do something to get that member a build date or was it just coincidental? Hard to say.
I am now taking to emailing that Director along with the Chief Customer Experience Officer and Ford's CEO. I want to bring to their attention the poor customer experience a lot of us are having with the Maverick allocation process. I am focusing on their allocation system and the lack of communications to customers regarding their order via the Dealership or by direct communications. I'm sure everyone understands supply constraints, trucking problems, rail issues, personnel sickness, but what we don't understand is how a system can be seen as fair, justifiable or equable to folks who have signed on early based on no more than the very PR that Ford put out about the Maverick, only to then be marginalize by Ford now by not building their order. Yes, there are June and July orders being fulfilled, yet it is totally unreasonable to be understanding why orders that were place later are being fulfilled while there are still orders from June and July outstanding. From a customer's point of view there is no reason (no constraint items) why an order placed in Aug, Sept or Oct is being built while exact same orders placed in June or July haven't been selected. From Ford's point of view there might be a "good" reason, but this gets back to my other point about the lack of communication from Ford concern orders and the allocation system. So time will tell if my emails make any difference at all. I'm am just sadden by a company with such a storied history as Ford's that they are ignoring and thereby losing many long time customers by this current customer experience.

Well you have obviously gone WELL beyond the effort you "should" have had to put out, just to get some answers to SOMEONE ELSE'S serious problem!
There is no way that you should still be waiting, when folks who ordered AFTER you have received their vehicles.

My communication was terrible.
- Order confirmation the same day I ordered
- Nothing from anyone at any level for 4.5 months
- After sending emails to dealer customer satisfaction, finally a build week
- 40 days later, the in person visit to the dealer to say wth is happening, that yielded a delivery date
- Delivery did happen 3 days prior to their date, but not once did I get a Vin# to track anything

Dealer finance at Peoria Ford was completely flustered with Ford's new plan to limit on lot supply.
They "were" in the 500 vehicle on site category, and under the Ford plan of order and build, their on lot allocation is whittled down to 100 vehicles. And this isn't going away so he was told.
You see it at other dealerships too! Lots are really empty of vehicles as opposed to the past.
It's by design, It's stupid, and the process is obviously broken.
We the consumers see that, and even the dealership employees see it.

Very very frustrating to say the least.

So getting back to your situation, God Bless you for your patience and give them hell from ALL Angles for all of us Arizonans that simply want a good truck and a smooth process!

Please keep us in the loop. I will make sure to bring up your situation and the trust factor if we end up having to special order one in August. That isn't cool if they try to gouge you on your special order.
So after finally Having the truck delivered yesterday i am glad to say i talked them out of the dealer mark up but the finance guy screwed up the paper work the first time so i was there till about 9 last night

What was the key to your success? I want to be prepared when and if my unit gets built.

I feel the same way that when I go to pick up my Maverick that it goes smoothly and they don't try to mark this up. I just got the email that my Maverick has been built and is estimated to be delivered 3/4-3/10 at Bell Ford. I have the Z plan and have dealt with Bell Ford before so it should go smoothly. I will update here when I am done picking it up next month. I ordered my Truck back in late June.

curious if anyone has mentioned how long shipping takes for Arizona deliveries? With an estimated build date of 3/14; I'm starting to feel like i should get excited
