ordered through Larry H Miller on 6/25/2021 hybrid build week was 1/2/2022 eta is the 12th- 18th when first talking to them they said no dealer mark up besides tint $900 now that truck is expected to deliver they want a 5k market adjustment plus tint just a heads up for people

I have seen 2 in the wild. One two months ago on Costco parking lot near Superstition Springs. The second headed E on McKellips Rd between Hawes and 202 (Red Mountain), it was 4x4.

According to the news Ford is clamping down on dealers that markup. We won't receive our FE Hybrid Lariat Lux 360 until May. Sure hope this trend of markups stops. Keep us posted on Larry H Miller!

That is exactly right. My dealer (Champman Scottsdale) never gave my email to Ford! I gave it to them myself. I have a August 9 order date and Ford actually issued a Vin# and start date of April 4 on Jan 20. No information coming directly from Chapman whatsoever.

Hybrid FE Lariat

It took three days for my order to get confirmed. I don't think they were as concerned there when it came to getting orders entered when the customer actually came in. I haven't gotten any information from the dealer along the way either. Had to contact the sales mgr just to get my order number (after many back and forths with salesman). Luckily I've been getting Ford emails and I now see my truck listed on the dealer website. So just about time for another conversation.

Please keep us in the loop. I will make sure to bring up your situation and the trust factor if we end up having to special order one in August. That isn't cool if they try to gouge you on your special order.

I've seen a few Mavericks in the wild in my time, but saw two out in the wild today. I saw a white XL that was actually being used by a small business, likely a pest control service. I also saw an Area 51 Maverick parked at a restaurant in Mesa this afternoon.

I've seen a Velocity Blue XL Hybrid nearly everyday on my way to getting coffee in the afternoon! I'm hoping to get a chance to talk to the owner because I'm curious to find out when they ordered since it came from Jim Click Ford in Tucson.

Never received a VIN, so I'm under the assumption the scheduled build hasn't taken place and I was either given bogus info OR it changed and they didn't tell me.
Thus an in person visit is in order in my mind hehe.

Ok, I FINALLY managed to get out to Peoria Ford for a face to face update on my Mav Lariat Hybrid.
Recap:
- ordered 8/7/21
- told build is scheduled week of 1/20/22 on 12/30/21
- emailed sales and customer care last week, could hear a pin drop

My sales person didn't get in until later in the day, the sales manager was off today, so I recruited assistance from another sales rep who was very helpful.
He had the office look up my order, and it turns out my truck is built and sitting in Nogales.
I didn't even bother pushing for a VIN# at this point. If it continues to delay then I will.
Dealer delivery date is "scheduled" to be 2/19/22, so pretty soon.

At long last, it's getting real. AND they had a Lariat 2.0 first edition in Area 51 one there.
Very very sharp .......

When I was at Peoria Ford, I asked the sales rep how many Maverick orders had they taken so far.
The answer was a shocking 10. 10!
He said the F-150's were still flying off the shelves, but the Mavericks were shockingly slow.
I was quite surprised to be honest.

Most dealers are adding dealer market up on them. Just saw a EB, XLT, Co-Pilot 360 for 32K

So I get this msg from Bell Ford yesterday via text. I had initially stopped at Bell Ford last August, but went with Peoria Ford because Bell was clueless about the Maverick at that time and we had prior dealings with Peoria.
"Hey, c'mon in! We have a Lariat Hybrid in and available!"

We're asking 39K

Look at the window sticker in one of the picks ...........

So if you're in need and don't mind the markup, check them out. It really has a ton of features.
Me, I don't want while, or a moon roof, or the huge price.

Oh yea, by the way ..... my truck was on that same train Wife and I will be heading out to Peoria Ford tomorrow afternoon to "hopefully" close that deal out and trade our Fusion Hybrid in.
