Had my 23 xlt lux for almost 2 weeks, 3300km ( 2000 miles ) no issues at all yet. Averaging real close to 47mpg so far.I was wondering if the issues like deep sleep, fire danger, air bags etc will be fixed on the MY24 hybrids. I guess once someone has a MY24 built we might know.
I had this same problem last spring. I got stranded on the interstate and towed my truck to my dealer 2 hours away. They had it fixed within 2 weeks. Why so long a wait on the part?I got my Maverick in early May 2023. Drove it two months before started having deep sleep issues. After replacing the battery, fuse, and cable turns out the messages saying the powertrain control system has detected a fault were correct. After consulting with Ford, the dealer says the dc/dc converter needs to be replaced. Been waiting for over three months now for the part and Ford can't give me an estimate on when it will arrive. So I'd say no, there are still issues. Dealer unfamiliarity with Maverick servicing and repair, poor supply management, and possible design flaws.
I have no idea. Ford customer service is involved and said they have elevated this and are tracking the part giving me weekly updates saying that they don't know when the part is coming in, either.I had this same problem last spring. The biggest issue is not the failed part, it is the 3 month wait to get the replacement part and the lack of knowledge by the dealership on how to repair a Maverick. I'm not even sure this will fix it. Don't believe any troubleshooting was done, they just took the advice of the Ford engineer. After the battery, fuse, and cable, this is the next thing to try....Unfortunately, yours is one of the early builds. About the same as the 22's issue wise.
Did you get the airbags done yet?The biggest issue is not the failed part, it is the 3 month wait to get the replacement part and the lack of knowledge by the dealership on how to repair a Maverick. I don't believe that affected me. What were the cutoff dates?Did you get the airbags done yet?
Did the update, nothing changed. Radio to CarPlay is horrible… bought 3 differnt car play units from Amazon…. All work occasionally, even hard wired, its spotty.Listen there are multiple threads on the latest updates to the firmware for the radio. I’m in those threads along with many others. All of us still have Bluetooth dropping out religiously in our vehicles and it has nothing to do with cables as a cable will transition to CarPlay..
Someone said their truck delivered to the dealer in late May was still waiting for airbags so they could pick it up.I don't believe that affected me. What were the cutoff dates?
Just curious, what difference would it make whether it sat in a garage or outside?...the car sits in a garage a lot...
Fire risk??????Just curious, what difference would it make whether it sat in a garage or outside?

Actually a lot, i left a car outside in damp weather, the Rotors got rust spots on them and never were the same, had to replace , cause couldn't find anyone to turn them.
But, for the Hybrid my question relates to it's battery , The Hybrid Battery is different,
You can leave a Tender on the 12v , but the Hybrid ? i keep hearing don't let it sit for too many months. Truth or Fiction,, ?
