Maverick hybrids are close to SOLD OUT

Submitting a hybrid order tomorrow. Who knows if it will stick, but I wonder if there may be more than normal of unclaimed units when they arrive due to no down payment requirements upon order.

I think they have the high-end eco boosts subsidizing the hybrids. That’s why they need to sell more EB’s — to cover that subsidy.

Yup. I think there are FAR FAR more orders than Ford has let on. Imagine how many fleet orders have been made? I am calling it now......this truck will outsell every midsized and full size EXCEPT the Fseries IF Ford can keep up.

There's a big difference between selling and delivering. Sez me who's been waiting over a year.

Yeah....Ford really missed the demand expectations for this.

Eb are 2.0 gas only though no need rely on battery system. Pretty standard across the board

That’s what Toyota has been thinking for quite a while. Batteries are expensive, with their materials in short supply. Those materials go a lot further in making hybrids than EV’s. You can cut the fuel consumption in half for 100 vehicles, or have zero gas consumption for one pickup truck. That’s like taking 50 vehicles off the road vs. one.

Agree completely. Though there's still an astonishing number of people unaware of hybrids. I have two neighbors who know I've ordered a hybrid - they keep asking when I'm getting my charging station installed.
