That car departed Walbridge, OH today at 6pm. Scheduled to arrive in Wayne, MI tomorrow morning, 5am.

As of today it's been 1 years, 4 months and 16 days since I ordered; built, shipped and awaiting delivery between 3/17/-3/23. Since then my dealership was sold and opened as another dealer, my original salesperson recently left company and I am working with another.

Day 540 and counting. Originally ordered a 2022 on 09-04-2021. Rolled over to a 2023 on 11-14-2022, Built 02-10-2023. Arrived by rail in Chicago 02-21-2023. Yesterday my estimated delivery window was 03-19-2023 to 03-29-2023. Today it changed to 02-21-2023 to 03-06-2023. Looks like it may be one day next week.

And just like that my hopes again took a kick in the junk! Was in the process of gathering documentation for the loan, and then it happened. Delivery window changed a little while ago to 02-28-2023 to 03-13-2023. Why Ford? WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY?????

My maverick randomly showed up today. My Ford order tracker still shows that it’s “shipped” and has an ETA of 2/25-3/10 even though I already picked it up. I ironically chatted with Ford customer service at 4pm to see if they had any news, and they said it was still in Michigan. Then my dealer called at 4:30pm to say that it arrived and was ready for pickup.

I guess the lesson to be learned is that the order tracker ETA is meaningless.

All the paperwork went smooth, however, my maverick was somehow damaged during shipping. There is a small dent on the passenger side roof. My dealer said they’ll have their dent guy work on the dent this week, so hopefully it comes out.

Original order 11/10/21 then a rollover order on 9/20 switching from Hybrid to EcoBoost and it was built and shipped last week. So any day now.
