Anyone used this 12v Battery as a replacement to the OEM Battery?

🤔 I haven't seen anybody post about that brand of battery before.
That is a great price, but it only has a 12-month warranty.
My personal preference. All Things Considered. Including the fact that a lot of Mavericks don't have a great reputation for battery longevity.
I would rather go with a Walmart Ever-Start Platinum H4 battery with a 4-year warranty.
I will pay quite a bit more for the security of knowing my battery has a four year warranty and the convenience of Walmart being just about everywhere.

Good Luck.

I agree with Glen Baker, I'd get one locally with a good warranty. Given the Maverick's propensity for eating batteries, a 4 year warranty could save you a lot of money in the long run. I have used EBL lithium batteries in stuff, and they've worked very well, but I can't say about their car batteries.

has anyone looked at these?
we applied the enersys hawker batteries to our aircraft for 20+ years.
we tripled longevity compared to old wet cell batteries.

Checkout the UPLUS BCI GROUP 140R AUTOMOTIVE BATTERY, H4 LN1 AGM CAR BATTERY WITH 570CCA, 80RC (12V 50AH) x 1. Checkout their direct website www.uplusbatteries.com then try this discount code to see if you get 10% off like i did of 10UPLUS5CJ0EVH8 FOR $13.99 OFF THEIR PRICE OF $139.99 OR FINAL PRICE OF $126.00 WITH FREE SHIPPING. This battery fit in my 2023 Maverick Lariat Hybrid. Good Luck
2022 HYBRID here, dealing with > 3 years of deep sleep issues, at least 2 battery replacements under warranty. I have very short trips (~5 minutes to work and back). I don't know if this will be a 100% permanent fix because of my use case, but I think this may help me last longer between needing to manually top up the battery.

Thanks for that coupon, the code still worked 12/28/2025. Just bought one. Kind of crazy that the DieHard unit costs $260 right now, in comparison to $126 for the UPlus after coupon, or even $140 without.

Here's links for when I was looking at some options:
Ford's Standard Flooded Battery for the 2022-2024 (and 2025?) Hybrids, Motorcraft BXT99RT4A - for reference

Some 140R / H4 / LN1 size AGM batteries:
DieHard
ACDelco
UPlus (Amazon)
UPlus (uplusbatteries.com - use coupon code 10UPLUS5CJ0EVH8 if you can)
EverStart (walmart)
Duralast
I'm sure there are many others

FYI: Battery Size Comparison: H4 vs. LN1 vs. 140R - they are all the same

Short Youtube video of guy showing removal/replacement:

Another short of someone discussing the swap was easy:

Longer video of technician discussing the Ford battery management system (BMS), and the reason why you have to use an 'upstream' negative connection point from the BMS (including any body-ground point really) to charge the battery.

When its time for a new battery, it will be an Odyssey replacement. I have never been stranded with an Odyssey battery... Pricey, but they always outlive their warranty.

I was curious to see a price, but I don't see a 140R size battery in their list

Has been said on this forum before that an
H-5 battery can fit the hybrid if you bend or remove a metal tab on the vehicle battery mount. The H-5 does provide more reserve capacity, but the H-4 is the proper size.

If you hit search by type, you can put in your year make and model. Says i can fit the H6 for my 24 EB.

You might notice the difference between posts by hybrid and EB drivers.
You replied to someone with hybrid - looking up a hybrid recommended size.

EB is spec'd with AGM H6 - therefore on lookup that's what you'll be shown.

Hybrid pre-25MY is NOT spec'd with H4 - therefore it will NOT be shown as a match in most databases.
You mostly cannot follow your advice of just look it up by model/year.
