What Type of 12V Battery is used in a Maverick Hybrid?

I learned today that there is a "new" type of battery used in many new vehicles. It is an Enhanced Flooded Cell battery that is using a polymer in its construction. The kicker is that its "full charge" spec it 12.4 Volts. Unfortunately I don't know how to tell the difference between that design and a normal flooded cell battery.

Actually the EFB's top voltage is 12.6 to 12.7 volts. It was placed in the Mav due to a shortage of AGM batteries which is primarily used in electrically demanding late model vehicles.
