I think I read that Android Auto only works on the front USB ports.Anybody try mounting in the rear, I have my dash cam plugged in on the dash. tried using lighter plug but stays hot all the time.
Wired definitely only works in the 2 front lower dash ports.I think I read that Android Auto only works on the front USB ports.
Looks to me they changed where the usb ports are. Mine are on the right and was able to velcro the ma1 right under it. Unless it's a different on the trims.I mounted my Motorola MA1 this way using velcro.

Here's a photo of my latest iteration to hold the adapter underneath (since the Velcro adhesive melted in the heat). It's a 1/16" horseshoe spacer shim for tiling with a hole drilled in it, using the bolt to hold it in placeHere are some photos of what it looks like. Pretty clean from the driver's perspective but need to figure out a better way to mount it underneath. I'm wondering if one of the bolts underneath can be used to hold a retaining clip or something.
