I think I read that Android Auto only works on the front USB ports.
Wired definitely only works in the 2 front lower dash ports.

I mounted my Motorola MA1 this way using velcro.

Looks to me they changed where the usb ports are. Mine are on the right and was able to velcro the ma1 right under it. Unless it's a different on the trims.

Thanks everyone, I went with the Motorola as I was able to pick it up yesterday at Best Buy instead of ordering it, instant gratification you know. I printed the housing and it currently looks factory-ish but is good enough for me and performs perfectly.

Push button start takes their place and shifts them over.
Thanks makes sense. But the ma1 tucks under tgere perfectly.

Here are some photos of what it looks like. Pretty clean from the driver's perspective but need to figure out a better way to mount it underneath. I'm wondering if one of the bolts underneath can be used to hold a retaining clip or something.

Here's a photo of my latest iteration to hold the adapter underneath (since the Velcro adhesive melted in the heat). It's a 1/16" horseshoe spacer shim for tiling with a hole drilled in it, using the bolt to hold it in place 🤣 it ain't pretty but it's nice and snug and you can't see it unless you get down in there

Does anyone know the size/length of the fastener Chugalug used to mount that improvised cable holder? I'm thinking that, with a longer version, and a bushing, that gets the head(s) out past the recess they are in, and then there are more options for mounting cable holders.
