Another vote for the MA1 Motorola wireless adapter. I also bought one of these right-angle extensions to make the connector stick out a little less (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CDM7G5WH). I then used a bit of adhesive/velcro to tuck it up out of sight within the 'cubby' or whatever. Unfortunately, now that it's warmer the adhesive failed so I need to figure out another way to hold it up.
I mounted my Motorola MA1 this way using velcro.

Here are some photos of what it looks like. Pretty clean from the driver's perspective but need to figure out a better way to mount it underneath. I'm wondering if one of the bolts underneath can be used to hold a retaining clip or something.

I had both the AAWireless and MotoA1.
In my experience both works fine however both seem to drop in certain locations all the time for me; other than that they are pretty similar.
I chose to keep the AAwireless since it has options for an app to modify some settings (which I don't tinker with much) and support with OTA app updates. The AA also has a removable USB cable from the unit, which I am using a shorter cable.

I used two Command Strips to stick my AA under the dash. Can barely see it's there from driver/passenger seat, but if I bend down I can see the LEDs.

I thought I would want to be able to see them, but I've never looked at them since installation. Every now and again the truck screen says it's not working so I just unplug the USB and wait a couple seconds and plug it back in.

Picked up the thingiverse 3d print for Motorola MA1 bracket from library this afternoon. Final weight 15g so total cost = $1.50

I'm pleased with it

Looks good. I was going to print one today but I just used the included sticky pad and stuck it up underneath.

My Motorola MA1 is tucked behind the phone prop thingy in front of the console.
Not pretty, but it works fine for me.

Yet again, a need to be snarky when someone simply comes for information. Perhaps the individual thought it worked similar to an IR remote? I mean how do you know? Why must people editorialize first and then answer the question? Sigh....

PS - glad you got what info you needed
Hello pot.....kettle here. Are we both still black? If you dislike editorialized posts, consider how yours might be classified.

I wasn't snarky at all. I was asking them a valid question to ensure they knew how it all worked. As you editorialized/hypothesized in your own comment, I also figured the same thing as you, that they might have thought the receiver was somehow IR, like an old TV remote. Then I provided the answer they were looking for, and even gave a recommendation for a specific product in case they were still open to suggestions.

Don't need to assign ill will where there was none. I would almost quote Hanlon's razor ("Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity"), but I didn't say anything stupid. So let's call it Joe's razor. "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by a way of writing that you don't prefer".

Let's just all be friends!

I have the Motorola MA1 wireless adapter. Currently having my local library 3d print a holder to tuck it out of the way. I could use velcro to stick it on underside of front dash but want to try this just because.

If your local library doesn't work out, I'd be happy to print it for you and ship it to you if you send me the .stl file. Just an offer.

That 3d print for the moto is pretty cool. Is there one for the AA?
