Question. I live in Ohio where it has been below 32 temp since picking up my hybrid two weeks ago. Averaging about 36 mpg. Wondering if those getting high mpg are in warmer climates, not needing the heat from the engine. Yes I know it will effect my mpg, but knowing you are not in a cold climate will help understand my numbers.
Having warmer weather and not needing the heat from the engine is very important. You get a significant boost.

MPG in city driving is phenomenal. Even in the cold. But overall I've averaged 29mpg since I left the dealer and they included about 50 miles pulling 1000 pounds behind it. Without the trailer I have been getting anywhere from 29 to 39mpg. Ohio and cold starts warming up zap it. Run without heat and you'll see your mpg skyrocket.

My computer says Im averaging 32-33 over about 200 miles since delivery, I have a very very short daily commute in the cold, just 5 minutes to work. I think that’s tanking mine. Computer says some of those trips are like 20-25mpg. Usually heat off but seat and steering heat on. I don’t know if those effect the mpg that much compared to the cold engine and battery. Looking forward to warmer weather (for many reasons) and seeing how it do.

The worst was when I just got it and didn't have an ice scraper so had to run the defroster to clear the windshield. Mpg was down around 25. But I was warm enough I did turn off the heat for that short drive afterwards.

I agree the people posting 40+ are definitely warm weather or have very short slow drives that run a lot of electric miles. For me, it's a lot of highway miles and cold cold cold runs. But even at that 29mpg is great for what I've done. And even a 400 mile range is better than my old car. Can't wait to run in warmth and see 500 mile ranges.

Gotta love this truck. You don’t even need to drive like a grandma to get good MPG. The all electric mode stays on until about 40mph or until you step on the gas. Averaging about 43mpg so far with 163 miles driven. Half of which was freeway and mountain driving.

Can you tell me why some odometers only have a MPH guage and some have both MPH and KPH? Thanks.

I can't think of a car I've drove that didn't have a KPH gauge inside of the MPH gauge in smaller letters. I'm assuming it's for foreign drivers driving here in America.

This was 2/3 local highway wIth speed limit ranging between 35 - 55 MPH. The rest was interstate with 65 MPH limit. This was during my first 1000 miles break in period. I have about 1300 miles now and averaging 40+ MPG

Good question. I wonder if Ford is just using any and all parts they have. The KPH should be printed on all of them (at least to me). I sure hope mine has it.

So you driving 11% more electric miles compared to the OP’s resulted in a 70% increase in MPG compared to the OP’s. Clearly the computer is not very accurate when gauging super short trips.

I know it’s probably exciting to see after anticipation of getting the truck after a long wait. But I wish these types of threads would stop unless someone drives all short trips like this and actually gets almost 1,000 mile range on one tank.

The lariat has a different dash. All the guages are digital with the temp and gas as bars along the bottom. And the speedometer is just mph or k/h depending what your set at. The base model is a static guage so had to show both.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn’t realize that the Lariat had those particular different features and never noticed the other differences on the dash.

Also just want to clarify it's not "all digital" the guages are real, but the center is all digital. So the kph is there

The hybrid Maverick is the first vehicle I've every owned that has the "miles to empty' number increase as I drive!
