The order banks should open this afternoon. At first glance over the major changes page, here are some highlights:
  • New Bronze Appearance Package on XLT 301A (HEV AWD) and Lariat 501A (HEV AWD)
  • XL and Lariat no longer has an Ecoboost option
  • XLT AWD, Lobo, Tremor is the only trims with Ecoboost motor available
  • Lariat no longer comes standard with Luxury Package, $1595 option. Lariat now available as FWD HEV at $34,760 plus Destination
  • New Colors: Neptune Blue, Gladwin Green, Glacier Gray Tri-Coat
  • Deleted Colors: Azure Gray, Carbonized Gray, Space White
  • FX4 Package now included on XLT AWD Ecoboost
  • FX4 Package no longer requires XLT Luxury Package and no longer includes unique 18" wheel
  • 4K Tow Package no longer requires Ford Co-Pilot Package
  • Tremor no longer includes Bedside, Rocker, Hood Graphics (optional now)
  • Toughbed Spray-in Bedliner is no longer included in the Lariat, Lobo, Tremor (optional now)

I will have a video with complete comparison of changes that Ford doesn't include on the major changes page tonight on the Long McArthur Ford YouTube Channel.
The 2.0l ecoboost engine disappeared since 2024MY south the border!
Only 2.5l hybrid available now! Since 2025 2026
Are we seeing the 2.0l ecoboost dying for good?

Was it mentioned the new trucks come with 1 year of Ford Security Package, with optional 7 year purchase?

Ford security package is a subscription based service that provides theft alerts, remote engine disable, and stolen vehicle recovery assistance.

Requires you keep fuse 11 connected.

3 models if you want Hybrid: (XL,XLT,Lariat).

3 models if you want Ecoboost:
(XLT,Lobo,Tremor).

Hybrids will continue to outsell EB’s 60% vs 40%? Probably widen the spread….

#1 Seller?
#2 Seller?
#3 Seller?
#4 Seller?
#5 Seller?
#6 Lobo;)

Interesting 🤔 I wonder what the ownership numbers are Hybrid VS EcoBoost.

I'm hearing from the chatbots that MAYBE you can order the (wired?) Securicode Entry Keypad from the factory?

Curious if option # 47E, the Securicode Keypad, is back on the B-pillar, and not a stick-on? No longer shown as a Dealer Installed option.

Seat of the pants observation:

When I was looking for a Maverick to buy earlier this year, all four dealerships within my county had a total of only three Hybrids among them to choose from. All four dealerships had plenty of EB Mavericks, most with the 4K Towing package.

Most of those Mavericks - in any trim - on the four local dealer lots were one of three color choices: Space White, Azure Grey, and Carbonized Grey. Trying to find either Ruby Red or Orange Fury was a study in frustration, even looking as far away as 500 miles.

That's why I special ordered my Maverick. I wanted a Hybrid Lariat with Orange Fury paint, and without many of the options that push(ed) the price of the Maverick up into the high $40K range. On Ford's "Employee Pricing" program - getting exactly what I wanted - the MSRP on mine came in comfortably less than $40K.

It makes sense to me that Ford is attempting to drop the "price of admission" on the Lariat.

Nice to see my '22 2.0EB Lariat Lux FX4 4K become even more of a unicorn... I can probably sell it for more than I paid for it...🤠

My MME is Glacier Grey, it's a cool color, looks great on the MME, be interesting to see how it looks on the Mav. Not every model wears every color well. Example, IMO, Marsh Grey only looks good on the Bronco, looks like @ss on Ranger & F150... 🤮

It's the same around here. Plenty of MavBoosts, not very many Mavbrids. And MavBoosts were selling for anywhere from $2-5k under MSRP depending on age.

The biggest constraint on the hybrid up to this point was battery production, it is possible ford was able to expand access, thus allowing more hybrids to be built at the expense of MavBoosts.
