Well in all honesty if you buy a Maverick you are buying a cheap truck with a few extra options, that's why I got the Lariat, if you want more that that, well you got the wrong truck.
It makes me wonder why they want a Platinum and then complain about the price.
Correct me if am wrong Tim, a Maverick with all those options shall be in the $50000 to 60000 range, at that point it will not be a cheap little nice truck anymore.

Right, it got the mid cycle refresh. But I was just pointing out there haven't really been any new options added over the first 5 model years so far like memory seats, auto dimming mirror, etc.
Has Ford confirmed yet what year we'll get the second gen Maverick?
2028. Just like most models every 6 year.

Yes, it just came out. Maybe someone will share it but I will not. It is proprietary information and I can get in trouble.

Watched your detailed video last night going over the '26 changes - thank you very much for doing that, next best thing!

Tim, with the spare tire as an option, I assume there will be no jack or any of the parts that hold the spare tire in the truck. That is quite a cost savings. Many people bitchin about the cost has led Ford down the de-content road, not a good way to go.

When you add the optional spare tire that is when you get the jack and tire Carrier.

It would seem that 2025 is the high point of the Gen 1 Maverick. 2026 adds really nothing- it removes items to reduce cost. 2027 is the final year for the Gen 1 Maverick, maybe a "final edition"- 2028 will be all new having to to battle with Toyota.

So by the end of 2025 there will be well more than half of all 22-24s on the road as 2025. By mid year 2026 the 22-24s will be outnumbered.
So you're telling me my MY2024 is going to acheive collector's status? :fingerscrossed:

LIke the power sliding rear window option on the XLT... Always thought if you ordered the power sunroof, you'd probably appreciate the powered sliding rear window too.

Yes, the final year before a “refresh” often become collectible if you keep it long enough & take good care.

“Hey look - this Maverick has the cool cubby next to the screen!”

Comparing the 2026 Tremor to the 2025 Tremor, I don't see any significant difference except
for color. I think I'm better off buying a 25 off a dealer lot.

2026 you'd loose the wireless charger if that means anything, no?
