I think the differences you see are just the computer rendered pictures. Somebody at Ford made some adjustments for some reason and made things darker. The same old XLT wheels look black but are still described as carbonized gray. The headlight and especially the reflectors could never be tinted or dark as that would compromise the light output.

Looks cool but something tells me that it's not what it really looks like. Remember the early renders of the black appearance package interior and how it made the interior look not blue as it really is? I think the same thing applies here. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.
Why use new images for the 26s especially if we all know they are 99% same on exterior.
It’s dumb

I'm glad to see the color palette still looks bright and colorful. The two new ones, Fury Orange and Robin's Egg Blue (just known as Light Blue on their configurator) will really pop in the sun or in a parking lot! I look forward to seeing them in person.

I think that's great. In an era where manufacturers tend to favor boring, corporate colors without any exciting alternatives, Ford should keep this up and stand out from the crowd. As long as people are buying them, of course.

Hence my color choice. I don't want a typical black, white, silver or dark grey. Why not stand out a little, you know? Plus, I never have to worry about losing my car in a parking lot. Hot Pepper Red is so vivid I can see it from the exit doors! What's nice is that it's not too flashy, it's just unique enough to stand out from the sea of black, white and silver.

Was hoping Ford would have run out of navy pier plastic by now. Yuck.
I like the Navy Pier and orange on my Area 51, but I'm inclined to agree with you in concept. If the blue interior plastics had been black/gray/tan, they would've been compatible with any exterior color Ford has ever offered. As it stands, there are some possible exterior/interior combinations I am REALLY unsure of. And that is before we discuss orange vs. blue accents...

Pushing 30K for an ecoboost XL, without adding any option packages😒.

What happened to this being an affordable alternative to the rest of the overpriced pickup truck market???

Looks like my '23 XLT Tremor isn't going to change owners anytime soon
if it makes you feel any better, a bare-bones F-150 XL SuperCrew starts in the $46K range...

I agree, MY25 XL in EG or no MY26 XL considering the price increase and poor color options.
I picked up my EG 25 (Job 1) when I found the build I wanted right after employee pricing kicked in. Same job 3 2025 truck is $4,000 more.

It still is the cheapest new truck in the US, but thanks to supply chain issues and Tariffs the goal posts have moved.

My build cost $30 more than a late 25 (job 3) build. SIBL cost went to by $30 to $525, and I would lose the awesome Eruption Green. Glad I bought a Job 1 when I did.

My 23 XLT hybrid sticker was $28,165 (minus $2750, 22 to 23 roll over private offer, so $25,415)
Building a 26 with the same options is just under $37,000!!!!
I hope nothing happens to my 23 :)
Yeppers on nothing happening as even a small happening can get to double digit repair or totaling amount.

Makes less sense than ever to order a vehicle if you're not that picky, or are willing to take a road trip to save a bunch. That vehicle is $100 more than I paid for my 24' in the same config (FWD hybrid, no options), and has a hitch receiver.

A '26 Lariat hybrid with 4k equipped like my '24 (sunroof, hard tonneau, etc) is around $8k more, but the upgrade (to AWD and 4K) may well be worth it to some. At $45k Ford might be asking a little too much but then again there isn't much competition if you're looking for a fuel efficient reasonably sized vehicle that haul stuff....

They finally raised the price on the 2K stand alone hitch receiver. From $100 to $150.

Otherwise, prices are mostly identical as when I last checked XL, XLT, and Lariat on August 3rd. XL and XLT EcoBoost prices are down, because AWD is no longer mandatory for those models. (Edit: I was looking only at prices for base models with zero options).

I was at about my limit with my 25 lariat hybrid AWD, with only the 4K tow package and the azure blue was MSRP 39,650. Now it’s now it’s $41,375 building it as closely as my 25 was just adding the power window in the rear never mind the other little things they took away like the passenger seat up and down and cupholders on the rear arm rest.
