Unless I had an overly amount of love for the light blue or wanted a hard-to-find Mav because of desired options, I think I would wait for end-of -the year reductions in the 25's.
Especially after 26's actually hit the lots. Just does not seem to be many differences.

I was able to build an XLT similar to what I currently have for my 2023, and I was able to select the FX4. The 2026 is about $5k more than what I paid for my 2023.

What happened to this being an affordable alternative to the rest of the overpriced pickup truck market???

'26 built identical to my 2 week old '25 is $120 cheaper. But I got $2K in rebates on mine.

Few observations

-xl and xlt appear to have tinted headlights ? I don’t recall seeing those on the 25 build site
-xl and xlt tires looks bulkier in the pics
-xlt looks pretty good at least in these doctored up pictures

almost looks lower and better but we know not much has changed

Average price of a new pickup truck is over $60k - and that includes the Maverick bringing down the average

I think the differences you see are just the computer rendered pictures. Somebody at Ford made some adjustments for some reason and made things darker. The same old XLT wheels look black but are still described as carbonized gray. The headlight and especially the reflectors could never be tinted or dark as that would compromise the light output.

Looks cool but something tells me that it's not what it really looks like. Remember the early renders of the black appearance package interior and how it made the interior look not blue as it really is? I think the same thing applies here. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

Maverick XL is Ford’s least expensive vehicle.

Other brands have cheaper cars - but no trucks less expensive than the Maverick.

So if you want a new truck instead of a Corolla or Civic - you pay the price. Negotiated price of course.
