With the way they actually have started to decontent anything but the Lariat trim - I actually am perfectly happy with my 2023 XLT + Lux Pkg.

Only thing I could think of that they could improve is a larger screen which is hardly a deal breaker for me anymore. However I am hopeful that some third party company will produce a replacement 10-12 inch screen. The existing screen is held in place by three easily removable bolts and one electrical connection.

Mechanically - I would love to see the 2.3L and 10spd offered for $3,500 up charge but I know that won't be happening.

The refreshed Mavericks will probably get more durable plastics on the inside (or maybe not) and yes it took 1 trip to soccer practice for my kids to ruin my back seats before 1,600 miles so the plastic does indeed suck - it's another one of those things that just doesn't bug me that much.

TL;DR - I'm content. Wouldn't mind an aftermarket 10-12 inch replacement screen.
10 speed auto is a RWD base transmission. Not compatible with the Maverick.

Touché, bud!

Then I ask for the 2.3L and the 8F57.

I hope and wish for world peace, goodwill toward all, an end to war, a brotherhood of man forever thank you.

Should be about as likely as a 2025 refresh.

Since the bronco sport is a year older then the Maverick I thought it was going to get a refresh for MY24 but it’s not. Maybe Ford is waiting to do the Maverick and Bronco Sport refresh at the same time? The escape was refreshed for 23 and the big bronco is getting a refresh for 25.

I would like to see Ford get back to the original idea of a basic, affordable Maverick for working people without big budgets. Make it possible to order an XL hybrid without waiting years. The market is already flooded with high end luxury trucks.
I would agree here. The Maverick is vehicle that could bridge the gap from a low 20K think under 22k with no frills to a 45K plus loaded vehicle with all the goodies.
The Maverick itself is easy to park, good fuel economy, fits in smaller garages, light towing.

If you can’t handle the whine, get out of the whine cellar…..
Whine cellar would be a great new sub forum to add here. For all the rants and complaints.

Mostly for Southern California members?
I'd say those complaints come from every state. And many well deserved.

I'm just wondering if this will definitely be the year that the Maverick undergoes a mid-cycle refresh and will possibly offer more features/a mild facelift. I figured since this will be the Maverick's fourth model year (which is hard to believe already) it's gotta be time for some slight changes. It would be nice if ventilated seats were offered at least on the Lariat trim and some upgraded exterior cosmetics such as full LED taillights/reverse lights, LED front turn signals, or add fog lights. What would you like to have offered on the '25 Maverick?
I like the idea of ventilated seats in the Maverick. Something I wish that they would do asap is to do a better job with the switches and buttons so that they are easier to figure out what controls what. The radio I feel is very hard to figure out. There are just too many distractions.
They should also go after the identified time bombs that are being identified daily with the trucks. These include paint and potential early exhaust system failures.

I was imagining the 2025 Maverick having the new Ranger's headlights for some reason. Also the offering of a new ST trim. Maybe a rear headlight redesign as well.

I don’t think you will see any changes until the shortages and delivery are solved. I think the Mach e will be updated first and then the Maverick.

... Fix all bugs that have continued to plague the model that have not been corrected. Like the right rear passenger window. ...
What is the right rear passenger window bug?

That's a weird one to pick. First of all, the Mach E comes out of the Ford E division, not Ford Blue where the Maverick lives, financially. Mach E loses money on every sale, not sure why you would refresh it. Look how long the Volt went before a refresh.
