So IO find out. Crappy. My 23 EB runs good and installing the S&B cold air intake helped and does not make additional noise. About a 10% increase in highway fuel mileage too.

Ford originally published a spec for the GPF equipped engine that downgraded the HP from 250 to 238. They subsequently revised it back to 250. No one has a GPF equipped engine yet anyway.

Actually Ford engineers told this same information to @fordvideoguy, Ford dealer sales manager, a couple months ago.

I adressed this confusing topic months ago on here. There is/might be a gas particulant filter installed. But it's confusing when/ if this will happen.ive seen it will happen on " job 3".

The GPF will only be on for the states following the California rules--West Coast states, New England states, Minnesota, and Colorado. And since few Mavs will ever try to develope 250 hp (5500 rpm needed) unless you're drag racing, you'll never notice it other than slightly lower mpg.
