I know this will sound strange but the Heated Seat do come in handy in Florida. Granted it depends on which end of Florida you live on but they are handy. The wife is always cold, even in the summer heat like right now. The AC is on Auto and my temp is set at 75 and hers is set at 77-78. And YES her heated seat is on low. Go figure!

All kidding aside, she does say it helps when her back or sciatic is flaring up.

I'm surprised at how many ordered 360. I didn't. I've ordered XLT, for cruise control. Can anyone explain why the 360 was so popular?

Thanks! Figured white would be less of an issue to make. Oh well. Probably won't see it until some time next year.

OK. Lets crunch the numbers. Ford stated that less than 40% built will be Hybrids. Lets say these numbers are correct across ford with high 10% margin error. This puts the Hybrid in higher demand than the 2.0, something I do not think Ford anticipated. The looks of this says that Maverick buyers want an economical truck, about the midrange model with a few added bells and whistles that gets good MPG and CAN tow a little load in a pinch. Thank you for this.....
My only qualm with this sentiment that Ford didn't think there's be this many hybrid orders... Their marketing is literally setting the hybrid as the flagship choice. There's no evidence they expected the majority of people to bypass the hybrid for Ecoboost, it's one of their big marketing points. I also have to guess they focus grouped a lot to get a statistically relevant sample of people.

Are these numbers going to be updated as you receive more replies? I live in Maine so awd and the heated seats were a no brainer.

Not arguing with you, I PROMISE.
They are selling it with a Fall Delivery. I personally feel the Hybrid requests caught them with their pants down as they weren't ready for that many at once. So to meet the promise to ship in the Fall of 2021 they are pumping 2.0EB's out the door (even though none have left the barn yet). Otherwise, from videos I've watched on "How It's Made" they show vehicles of all colors in line and the drive train comes up for that appropriate vehicle at that time. As another thread about Transmissions stated, they ONLY requested 139. So that tells me they missed the boat on orders and are trying to meet a commitment to deliver SOMETHING in the Fall.

Just my 2 cents.

The wheel stats can be inaccurate. Due to not adding the black painted wheels in the beginning. The stats may be bias towards the closest resemblance to it.

This post makes me want to add co-pilot 360. Over 70% of members add that, I might need that too. It may speed up my production.

The evidence was the fact that it will not be a showroom option and the majority of them built is scheduled to be the eb. It will be the first vehicle for Ford in which the hybrid sells more than a traditional.

To all those talking about heated seats but no cooled seats. Katzkins will be making a kit for our trucks. I'm getting my seats redone in leather to match the truck. Im adding the a/c option as I live in south FL. Pretty sure u can add it without going to leather ill have to ask my upholstery shop to confirm that option though.

Went to the website and can't get past the first screen as the 2022 Ford Maverick isn't shown. Did you have to call them to get available products and pricing?

I get what you're saying, in my mind these issues with the hybrid are extenuating circumstances due to ongoing global supply issues, rather than Ford doing a marketing bait and switch planned from the beginning, so to speak. I mean, it's possible that's the case, if objectively the hybrids are more expensive than eb and the whole thing is a strategy to lure in many buyers that switch to eb. But that seems a bit tin-hat territory to me.

Minor question regarding comparison to other eb/hybrid option vehicles like the Escape, are the hybrids more expensive than eb in those cases?
