I have been debating on ordering a ‘23. I would really like to see some other color interior on the lariat (just don’t think I like the copper color), fog lights, and auto dimming rear view mirror.

Yes fog/driving lights!!!
Auto dim, I picked up a new KIA auto dimming mirror kit online that was obsoleted for $25 and will install it myself. Sometimes you can find those with the 3 button homelink garage door opener setup. I didnt get that as mine is an older setup. Most of the carmakers use Gentex for auto dim mirrors.

Here's a question, would you be willing to give up the rear under seat storage spots if it meant increasing the size of the hybrid battery?
Why would you need a bigger battery? You won't gain anything. The truck is a Hybrid, not a EV. You can't drive any distance on electric only.

2:45 2. Rear Seat Cushion Design
3:20 3. SYNC 3 Standard

4:38 5. Drive Mode Functionality
5:35 6. Auto Start/Stop Delete
5:58 7. XL Optional Package
6:32 8. Luxury Package Changes
7:55 9. Fog Lights

I loved having the index with the time showing. I listened to the whole thing because it was only about 10 min, but on longer broadcasts it would be great if we only wanted to listen to specific topics.

I too cast my vote for fog light, but only if factory LED. I know I could buy the LED's and I prolly would but having it from the factory would be my druthers. I would also like SYNC 3 big time and the auto start / stop delete would be nice as well.

Actually you do gain on PHEVs. Theres plug in hybrids that have extra battery size, and some can go up up to 40 miles on battery only before the gas engine kicks in, and plug into a standard 110V wall outlet for overnight charging. This makes them perfect for local commuter vehicles, and can still go long distance with their gas engine. I live 9 miles from my job. So I could theoretically do that trip 2 days in a row on electric only, then plug in when getting home that second day. If I wanted to to let's say ft worth 150 miles away, no biggie, I still have a gas engine.

Rear seat delete. Better yet, an extended cab. Though much as I want that, I can see how it would be at the bottom of Ford's list. Because not all of us need 4 seats.
Super Cab and longer bed. Like my old Ranger.

Why are you comparing a PHEV, with a HEV? The question was not about a plug in vehicle.

Because the maverick will likely be offered as a PHEV in the next year or 2. The escape already is offered as such.

In a nod to the Honda Element, I would love to see the Maverick with removable rear seats and some sort of flat floor configuration.
Agreed, flat floors are the best thing ever for a 2 person camping trip. Throw big totes and a cooler back there and hit the road. Note- I am thinking about rainy season and or some requirements we have to keep stuff that can attract wildlife inside the locked vehicle at night, as opposed to the box.

-stripper pole in bed of truck.
I think that last request is more of a "do it yourself" add-on! 😉😆
The pole should be standard option, the stripper is a "do it yourself" add-on! o_O
