I don't know what Ford is waiting for. No reason to keep our "P99" orders locked that I could imagine. We need time to get our dealers to make our changes, and that doesn't push Ford into the next step of making them P2s until they are ready to do so.
Giving people time to adjust their orders is a good thing, especially with the difficulty some are having with their dealers. Keeping the orders locked all week doesn't seem to serve much of a good purpose to me.
It allows them to schedule another big group of new orders, many of which don't get the special offer.

This is what my dealer wrote me when I asked what Priority Code 10 means. Based on what I've read on this forum this is a lie.

"Priority Code 10 means that the Maverick build was picked up but has been cancelled before production despite being serialized.
Code 10 just means it's the highest priority of your dealers allocations, they are the ones that put it at 10, when it's chosen, Ford will move it to a 1-9.

I appreciate the disappointment. Should you choose to keep your order in place you will be receiving a 2024 Maverick, not a 2023."
Priority 10 does not mean this.

I believe the truck (Hybrid 2022) I ordered is going to get built as a 2023 and the dealer will then sell it for thousands above MSRP, as they are doing with other Mavericks.
This would not be surprising

First time "buying" a Ford (I'm cancelling the deal, not waiting until 2024 with no vehicle and not willing to find something to bridge the gap), and definitely the last time I'll consider Ford. Too bad, really looks like a great vehicle but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Best of luck to all of you sticking it out.
Unless your dealer is thinking yours will not get built because all of their allegations have been scheduled, they, at best, have no idea how their ordering system works, or at worst, are lying to you. Your email is still attached to the build, so Ford will let you know directly if it gets chosen, they won't be able to get it in without you knowing as long as Ford has your correct email.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'd love it if someone from a Ford dealership could confirm that Priority Code 10 certainly does not mean what this dealer is telling me.

Nothing is forcing them to change our orders to Priority 2 until they are ready to do so. They can easily delay that for as long as they like...if this premise is true.

My dealer also said about four times yesterday that I was "losing price protection". We all know this to mean that we won't get a 2023 for a 2022 price but I am wondering if my dealer is saying this repeatedly so I am not surprised when they tack on $3000 market adjustment

Yeah that's true. I'm just feeling defeated by all the hoops and it's pushing me into being a conspiracy theorist.

Teaching my dealer how to make my 14 month older to become a thing has proven to be something that makes me sad….Ii get half of what i ordered and pay more? If they ever build the fucking thing I will be surprised as my dealer has zero clue. I don’t blame them tough….this shit show is on on ots last legs.
Everybody is going to jump your ass like they did mine on my posts. Saying it's not Ford. BS. I have followed it to the T. I even had to threaten my Dealership to order me another MY23 in Sept during order dates or his show room would need security and news media. ( I wasn't bluffing). Original order 11/4/21. On 3rd salesperson and 2nd sales mgr by now. I have a build date on 2nd order of 12/19 but Ford cancelled to co-pilot assist and is crediting me per dealer. Everybody else on here with a Phd says the dealer just forgot to put it on. Oh Yeah! and just call Ford and have them type the "Credit" like it wasn't ordered. Truth is Ford is Screwig the pooch because they promised a low cost truck that's becoming expensive to build. I still have a MY22 somewhere in the system to crossover!! So my New order will arrive before my carryover 22 eco lar co-pilot (-Assist)lux 4k.SMFH with no 1750 offer I'm sure.

Sharing my experience from yesterday. Nothing new. I sat down with dealer sales manager and we went over everything that needed to be changed on the duplicate order. However, like everyone else she was locked out. She had a call to the area/region sales manager but didn't get an reply yet. She did say that I would be getting the incentive discount but that would happen later and directly from Ford. She's supposed to call me back when she finds out something.

Tim, are the orders still locked for editing? Have you gotten any updated info from the Maverick team on when these will be unlocked? This waiting is killing me...
They are still locked for me.

I work at a dealership and can confirm that that is not correct. Dealers can choose numbers btw 10-19 for retail order priority codes.

It may have been a misunderstanding..... that dealership may have chosen to make all "rollover" or cancelled and transitioned Mavericks priority 10 (Ford did say to make rollovers priority 10), and then "new" 23 Maverick orders some other priority. But that would just be dealership policy. Priority 10 is simply the top priority that a dealership can assign to a retail order.

Still locked, I will try again in one hour. Usually scheduler updates happen at around 3:30pm CT. I'll post an update here when I can.

Help. Just got off the phone with dealer and they are still saying my order is a 22 to be built on 1-9-23. I asked if there was a 23 order under my name and the answer was no. Should all the converted orders be in the system by now?

Yes, they should! But it is possible that a few conversions didn't happen with the rest? Or your dealer didn't pay attention and deal with the duplicate order numbers correctly.
