'May be old, old ground. Sorry.
My 2022 Lariat Hybrid 12v battery is in deep sleep mode all the time. I have been getting these deep sleep messages for over a year, although it has always started. A few days ago I measured the voltage and it was 12.29 volts - nowhere near fully charged. I put a good charger on it and, after it said it was fully charged, I measured well over 13V. I turned the car on for a few minutes and, after turning it off measured - 12.29V. (It would be interesting to disconnect the cables at the battery and measure the unloaded voltage at the battery terminals. I may do that.)
I have read a bunch of articles in this forum and still don't know, is it the battery or the software/electronics? Does anyone know? I would be willing to replace the battery (not with a Ford battery). But if the problem is with the software or electronics, that won't help.
BTW - my truck is out of the 36k/3 year warrantee.
Thanks in advance.
