Yeah, that is what the replacement is even though they now have the AGM readily available. I know one guy who is on his 5th battery. Until Ford gets rid of these defective batteries the problem will continue.

I had mine replace on my '24 about 3 weeks ago and Ford would only replace with the same battery as I it had in it. Since I had gone through 2 of those crap batteries in 18 months I demanded and AGM but had to pay out of pocket for it.

Let's hope it is not like the battery issue where they continue to replace the defective lead acid batteries with another one just like it instead of the AGM.

I am sure that will help but it remains to be seen if it totally solves the issue.

I appreciate your diligence, wish you was at my dealership. Keep us informed on what you find out.

It will still probably help if they would update the charging software to charge to more than 85%. I think the lousy batteries are most of the problem though. One week with the AGM so too soon to tell on my part.
