Interesting call....I just called on my order of 2 XL White Hybrids, gentleman was extremely helpful. Good news, said both orders in and was the earliest he had seen (placed the order on 6/7/21 with dealership). Dealer placed order with Ford on 6/11/2021. Bad news...young man said the hybrids probably would not go into production until December (I am assuming he is in the know?). I am sure there will be variations, but that was disappointment.

This afternoon (13 Aug 2021), I ordered a base model Cactus Grey XL Hybrid with just the safety package. Salesman said that he was hearing early October for their allocated Mavericks and specifically ordered ones.
Today (16 Aug 2021) I changed my order to an XLT after finding out that Cruise Control is not an option on the XL. Cruise Control is a must have item, so I don't get speeding tickets!

'Not sure if this is the place to ask this or not. Those of you who have ordered, do you get a firm delivered price when you order. I was going to wait to at least see a Maverick before I ordered one. But I know what I want, and with 6 to say 12 weeks from order to delivery, and if the deposit is refundable and not that crazy, I'm thinking of going ahead. The thing I don't know is what price I'll actually be paying. Do you know this up ront when you order?

This is not my first rodeo, but I've never ordered a vehicle before. And I keep them a long time. The dealers seem to come up with new shenanigans between one purchase an the next.

I got confirmation email 6/15, but no production email. Dealer says build date week of 9/13. I have a valid VIN. Using the tool provided in this thread, shows primary status as “in order processing”. The Ford website took the VIN, but still shows nothing in the orders/reservations page. Anyone else in the same boat?

Exact same boat. Thought I had missed the boat completely with the October builds but then my Sales Manager emailed me yesterday afternoon with an update with my build date and VIN. Plugged it into my Ford Account and shows the Maverick by VIN in vehicles but not in orders. My status is "In Order Processing" too. Maybe once finished processing it will all update and maybe even send us the Scheduled email too??

I went to the dealer today and added-on the 4K Tow package and sliding rear window. Hopefully this won't hold up delivery. I don't have a VIN or build date yet....

Same. Got emails from Ford for order and scheduling and have VIN. Added to Ford owner account which still shows “order processing” and nothing under reservations.

I don’t think it’ll affect you. I originally ordered on 06/24 including 4K tow. Added rear slider and optional wheels on 08/07. Scheduled on 08/12.

I’m in the same boat. Only got the deposit paper work from my dealer, as well as my spec sheet.. don’t remember if she even asked me for my email. Guess a phone call will be due Monday morning.

My dealer said no deposit? anyone else? my sales rep said have not ordered yet, they are waiting on Ford.

They don’t have to “wait for Ford” to order, dozens of us have already ordered.

My dealer did not require me to made a deposit either. I did call and they gave me an order number 6003. Not sure what to do with it though.

I have a "preview order number" : Preview Order M--- - W-- removed actual digits for privacy. Should I demand a DORAN from the Dealership? Is it possible they are giving me some kind of "run around"?? My thought is that if this does not get ordered, then the dealership gets a similar one in inventory and can mark it up... there is a bait and switch of sorts that unfolds?
