  1. Any Bed Extender that works with tonneau cover installed?

Hi Jon, That's the one. I used my Ford Points to get it and it has worked out great. Fits with the tonneau closed and bed mat plus when flipped inside the bed it works great as a "trunk" area so you can keep everything pretty much under that back flip panel near the tailgate. I thought I'd...
  2. Any Bed Extender that works with tonneau cover installed?

The FoMoCo one for Maverick works just fine. I have an Undercover Armorflex trifold tonneau along with the spray in bedliner and the Maverick rubber bed mat installed and my FoMoCo bed extender fits just fine with room to spare. Initially thought I might have to trim it down some due to the...
  3. Maverick Parts Blues (AWD PTU Failure)

I did, a little over a month later after the same runaround about the broken exhaust clamp. My service advisor gave me the number and recommended I call Ford Corporate Customer Care and I did on the one month date. Told them that clamp has to cost a lot less than the rental Jeep bill I was...
  4. What MPG are you getting with the AWD 2.0 Maverick

First road trip with the Maverick to Mammoth Lakes. 900+ miles driveway-to-driveway with all the side trips while at Mammoth - and I take speed limits as "recommendations" 🙄 . Mostly highway but a good bit of 2 lane in the mountains and CA 395 (where plenty of passing power came in really...
  5. ***FINAL UPDATE*** Transmission issues

I wish I had known this before my truck sat at the dealer for over a month because they couldn't find another exhaust clamp they broke while replacing the PTU.
  6. I regret getting spray in bedliner

Lol....I did the same thing. Same setup I had in my previous truck too.
  7. PTU Failure @ ~400 miles: AWD Fault - Service Required.

Well, it did end up failing a couple more times before the PTU came in so Ford could change it. Was random times too...nothing like "under acceleration" or anything like that - one time was in a parking lot! So it went into the shop for the PTU change.....and stayed there for over a month...
  8. Auto ECO Mode

I did a similar shortcut to make my phone notification tone go off every time it disconnects from CarPlay so I'd quit leaving my phone in the truck!! 🙄
  9. Auto ECO Mode

I think ideally to have the default setting to remember and retain the last mode used when shut off would be a popular solution. Maybe somebody will come up with a harness for that like the Auto Stop-Start Eliminator (or a FORScan setting).
  10. So this fell off today

Or they call you when you are supposed to be picking it up from the parts replacement (after waiting 3 weeks for the part) to be told they broke the clamp that holds it on and is now unsafe to drive. A month later you are STILL in your rental that has to be costing Ford WAY more than that damn...
  11. Maverick Parts Blues (AWD PTU Failure)

Previously diagnosed with an AWD PTU failure @ 400 miles. After several weeks they finally got the PTU in and scheduled me for service on Feb 7th. Well, it is still at the Ford Service Department today. The reason? New PTU went in just fine, but service advisor said they broke a clamp to...
  12. Wireless charging pad connection?

Pretty sure that was it, thank you!! @ValenciaOrange
  13. Wireless charging pad connection?

I could almost swear I saw a post and picture someone had of there being another power connection below the console where you could plug in a wireless charging pad (possibly where it would factory plug in if it had it). I have searched the forums but cannot find it again. Does anyone else...
  14. CPLAY2AIR Wireless CarPlay Adapter confirmed to work in Maverick

Same here....gave up on the CPlay2Air, gifted it to my neighbor and ordered a TNVTEC.
  15. FAIL. Throwing in the towel. CPLAY2Air for XLT/XL.

Yes, that was the 2nd thing we tried after pairing it with my neighbor's car and it worked perfectly (the one who has it permanently now), but no joy back in the Maverick. I was hoping that would be the key to force a Bluetooth connection since that appears to be how others got it to work - but...
  16. FAIL. Throwing in the towel. CPLAY2Air for XLT/XL.

Yes, Lariat Lux works fine with as it has the Sync 3 system. The regular Ford Connected Touch Audio in XL/XLT not so much. Only a few have gotten it to work and seems to be with older CPlay2Air units that were previously connected in other cars.
  17. FAIL. Throwing in the towel. CPLAY2Air for XLT/XL.

Well, with the below response from CPlay2Air support, I am done and throwing in the towel. I have passed the CPlay2Air adapter off to my neighbor for his wife's car (none of my other vehicles have CarPlay). I'd rather gift it to a friend than pay for shipping back to China and a possible...
  18. FAIL. Throwing in the towel. CPLAY2Air for XLT/XL.

Well, just a quick update....still not found a way to make it work but have been able to share some good info with CPlay2Air and they are still trying to figure it out. I'm about ready to throw in the towel and stick this one on OfferUp.com if they don't come up with something soon. Honestly...
  19. CPLAY2AIR Wireless CarPlay Adapter confirmed to work in Maverick

@CZaugg I've looked closely but still missing the $15 coupon. Is it a code listed somewhere or did it just show up when adding it to your cart? I'm about done trying to get my CPlay2Air to work (and dealing with their "support").
  20. A larger rear view mirror is needed, the factory one is horrible ....

Which is why I could never work in customer service 😆. Personally I like these threads, gives me things to experiment with that maybe I would not have thought about otherwise. If I find it is not for me, Amazon has a pretty great return policy (like I did with the convex one). But I'm keeping...
