Thanks for sharing that piece of information. We're all in uncharted territory here with such a new truck and new accessories. I don't know what I'd do without this club. They're great except they don't shut off with the factory Lariat DRLs. For some reason beyond my understanding, they stay lit for 15-20 minutes after exiting vehicle, and this is with me tapping into the DRL wire. My guess is that the DRLs are controlled somehow in the headlight unit and not from the ECU, so unless I want to pry open the headlight housing and monkey around in there, I got to accept it.
After observing that they aren't noticeable during the day, I decided to tap into the low beam wire, and they now only come on at night and oddly enough, they shut off with the low beams after exiting vehicle.
$6 and climbing in CA. Golden State, my behind. It's 4.49 a gallon here..
Today.. I didn't put gas in my Hybrid Maverick..
Win!
I agree. Can't put my finger on it, but I think it's the speed graphics on the doors.I usually don't like white vehicles, but man yours looks really sharp!! Well done!!
Coupled with the right trim, white can be awesome and one needs no better example than your truck! Thank you for sharing your pride and joy. We all share in your love of this truck.Added the tailgate assist, added Rokblokz mud flaps, and a bath!
I think the "golden" part refers to what you need to live in the state!$6 and climbing in CA. Golden State, my behind.
6.09 at the 76 by my neck of the woods. Ouch! I didn't think I could love my hybrid any more, yet here I am falling more in love as the gas price rises.$6 and climbing in CA. Golden State, my behind.
Yes, and I would be too if I wasn't so impatient and got the 2.0 because Ford was building them in October last year. I'm still fortunate and love my 2.0 XL, even though gas is $4.29 here, in 6 months I have only driven 2000 miles so it's not a big hit.6.09 at the 76 by my neck of the woods. Ouch! I like the bed rug. It's classy!Hey - I loaded the kayak and I'm heading for Galveston Island State Park in the morning. Using a Thule roof rack on the front and a hitch extender on the back vertical. Used a 12-inch extension so I can open the tailgate. Used strap loops under the hood for bow line just in case. Pictures included.
It was a grueling 9 month wait but I was and am fortunate enough to be able to work from home so it made the waiting a bit easier to endure. You should be congratulated for being patient and having to wait on the hybrid. I bet there are lots of 2.0 owners that were wishing they had waited.
