2.9%=Nothing surprises me anymore. Nothing at all. Including this.
So what does this mean to the 2.9% incentives? It was supposed to end around September 5?
What a Charlie Foxtrot.

I just saw a 2023 black maverick for sale at Temecula Ford CaliforniaCalled my salesman at Simmons Rockwell in Halstead, PA. Didn't know about the change, didn't know about the new colors, etc. Ford has created a real mess and NO communication. In the meantime us peons who don't have the ability to pay cash for these trucks are watching the interest rates climb. I am done unless I can find a Maverick that was cancelled and coming in somewhere, which I don't have much hope for.
It’s gone from SNAFU to FUBAR.Nothing surprises me anymore. Nothing at all. Including this.

Ford has a marketing team??Is it just the maverick wonder what else got pushed back ? Anyways major pr nightmare for ford . It was never good idea schedule the ranger , f150 , maverick , explorer efc on the same date . Somthing had to go wrong with the marketing team .
Understatement of the year lolThe management of Ford has a communication problem.
They are extremely slow about that it’s been all day ..Just seen latest news from Ford Authority, that sends headlines to my phone.
The story read, order banks open august 2 for hybrids and 2.0. I guest Ford Authority
didn't catchy the latest news. But the headline and followed article was dated today.
Oh well, out of my control
yep. The ford video guy posted it earlier today.Just got off the phone with fords maverick team and the nice lady on the phone said her email this morning said order bank isn’t opening til sept 15th. Anyone else hear this?
I’m pretty sure 23 production won’t be starting in October anymore with orders being placed in mid-September. Scheduling was supposed to start in September. This all sounds like them pushing the 23 start back to accommodate finishing 22 orders. There will be more to this story……guaranteed. In all honesty, does it matter if we order next week or next month?
If production isnt going to start until October and we're all in the same boat having to wait before we order, it's not like them changing the date we can order will change the actual production date.
Just think, you won't have to pay registration in December every year.So if it’s the 15th of next month you won’t see your truck until 23 then. No way it gets done by December .
I’m guessing they start in December as earliest . The inflation flip on intrest rates and parts issues with lux probaly pushed things back all togetherI’m pretty sure 23 production won’t be starting in October anymore with orders being placed in mid-September. Not disagreeing. Leaves one scratching their head for sure. I think the interest rates were the final straw. I see some fat cat coming in this morning with the news of the interest rates. They have some approval on their desk for the orders next week, and an email about some coordination issue on the roll out that isn't flushed out. And they go why are they rushing this... Pull the plug. Then they fire a lower manager for the fiasco though it's not their fault it's systemic. All of that* was true before the date was moved. People would not be as surprised the date was pushed back 6 weeks, if Ford has not pushed the date forward by two weeks less than a week ago.
*all of that, save for the interest rate. So if someone said Ford was doing this strictly in response to the fed raising the key rate, which will raise all rates, which will make Ford Financial more money, they may have a point.
