I just got my notification of a build date the week of November 8th.

My Build is:

2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid in Velocity Blue with
Ford Co-Pilot360
Manual Rear Sliding Window
110/400W Outlet in the Cab Rear

I ordered from Autonation Ford Frisco in TX on 8/23 and modified my order twice to remove "late availability" and constrained items and doing so I believe that pushed me forward to get considered and then assigned a build date. Only 25 days from order to assigned build notification.

The items I removed are available in the aftermarket or from Ford parts.

These include:

Front and Rear Splash Guards,
All Weather floor liners tray style,
Bed mat

I don’t think the dealer knows the answer to most/any of those questions. Why do I sense that you might be hounding him? If you are, it won’t help. If you’re not, I apologize and applaud you.

No hounding, just a check in email every two weeks or so. I'd say I've exercised some restraint. It's not their fault.

has anyone from the dealership been keeping you up to date on anything? It’s essentially silent unless I initiate a conversation and then at that they seem like they are in the dark, it’s largely unhelpful anytime I speak with them.

Being first with your dealer doesn't guarantee anything. Didn't they say once they round up qualified orders, it would then go thru a round robin selection process?

I have the same. I think the car has to be manufactured and physically available to be entered in Ford.com. Right now the VIN is only for you to track the build and deleiver progress of your Truck.
