The dealer gave me a loaner, but I think that's also because I had water leaking into the cabin so I've been putting miles on their vehicle instead of the truck at least.
Well you’re gonna be waiting 3-4 weeks to make that drive again.
There's a huge number having the same problems that haven't ever touched their trucks though ... definitely a known defect, any mods definitely amplify the issue
Yeah I have a hybrid and haven't touched the suspension or tires at all and they went bad.

Yes, we actually got a set in for a customers truck this week. Side by side you can tell they've changed the design at the outer cv joint. The housing is slightly different, looks to be beefed up a bit.

That I couldn't tell you off hand, we (techs) don't have direct access to the catalog at my dealer anymore. I'd have to talk to my parts manager.
oh i thought you said you had a customer who received these as replacements. you dont remember if it was a hybrid or ice model?
My apologies, I thought you were asking if they were for both models. These were indeed for a Hybrid.
Logistics of designing, manufacturing, and distributing these new parts when there is already a long line of people waiting for them. Unfortunately this process can take some time. Considering the Maverick is a relatively new model, built on a relatively new chassis, there's always going to be growing pains.
