Hopeful that all 2025s come with upgraded CV axles. Ford should just put the tremor CVs in all mavericks across the board.

Fix the issue so folks can enjoy their trucks.
heavier CV axles might cost .003 MPG therefor not going to happen,,, yep that is how the world works

My truck has been sitting in the shop for three weeks now waiting on axles. I don't mind waiting a few more weeks if that means they fixed the issue and are giving me the upgraded ones.

Take this with a grain of salt, it's just a game of he said/she said at this point in time. But it sounds like Ford identified engineering flaws with the CVs and reengineered them. Again, nothing official, so don't get your hopes up. Please God let this be true.

Mine were ordered yesterday. Said they were on back order but “being filled”. I was told 2 weeks. I really hope I don’t get one of the last remaining old ones. I’ll be over 60,000 miles very soon if I need to replace again. Would be nice if they made this a priority for the people who are driving around on bad axles waiting for a new one.

The below is in regards to a rearview camera issue - but shows Heat is getting applied to them ...

Ford agrees to pay up to $165 million penalty to US government for moving too slowly on recall

“Timely and accurate recalls are critical to keeping everyone safe on our roads,” NHTSA Deputy Administrator Sophie Shulman said in the statement. “When manufacturers fail to prioritize the safety of the American public and meet their obligations under federal law, NHTSA will hold them accountable.”

Ford also has to review all recalls over the last three years to make sure enough vehicles have been recalled, and file new recalls if necessary.

The company also must review and change its recall decision-making process, improving the way it analyzes data to find safety defects in its vehicles.
-----------

Bottom line is keep reporting problems/issues to NHTSA

Cheers

My dealer has acknowledged the problem on my 22 XLT but unless they give me a loaner, I'm not leaving it in for any amount of time more than overnight. I'm looking at Tacoma's but it won't fit in the garage

If you have CV issues or have had CV issues it is very important that it is reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) at NHTSA.gov .
If Ford does not do a voluntary recall the NHTSA can force them if enough complaints are made.
Thanks I just reported my 23 XLT Hybrid which needs a 2nd set at 29,000

I highly doubt a recall. That would be BIG money to replace them all. I have no issues on my 23 Mav Hybrid . YET.
It depends on if the NHTSA gets involved or not. If it is deemed unsafe to drive then it will be required to be recalled.

This surely only means models going forward will get the redesign; they’re not going to recall anything, but I guess they may replace anything under warranty with the newly developed CV 🤷🏻‍♂️
