Might want to practice removing and replacing before it becomes urgent. My Motorcraft blades easily last 3 years…long enough that I forget the procedure for changing.

I buy the RainX Silicone Endura for both my ‘22 Maverick and ‘22 Escape. They last for a very long time!

I also don’t know who makes the blades for Motorcraft.

I guarantee there is no factory owned by Ford making wiper blades. People seem to be unable to answer your question. A thread on the bob oil forum says it's either Trico or Valeo and you should be able to get the same thing at a Hyundai/Kia dealer.
Adding on, here are the primary manufacturers:

Windshield Wiper Blades Market Players

Some of the top windshield wiper blades companies offered in the professional report include Robert Bosch GmbH, Valeo SA, Trico Products Corporation, Denso Corporation, Federal-Mogul LLC, Mitsuba Corporation, Valeo SA, PIAA Corporation, HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, and WEXCO Industries Inc.

As you've seen explained - someone, or several someones, made these for Motorcraft.
Possibly at the same time, possibly after another low bidder came in.

Could be the someone that made yours was a really good one.

And while mine seem great for the limited time and usage so far - they could end up bad.
And made by a different someone.

I've used for years on my Rav4 some that Project Farm found good, but I'll probably try to take the truck's off and see what someone made my OEM ones.

I tried this and did not like them. they wore out faster than my stock wipers, and more importantly, they were about 1" shorter each. (yes, I bought the correct sizes. it seems to me if you make a 22" wiper that's really only 21.2" long, you save a little bit of material cost.)
Good grief, following the food industry method.

Is this why some oil filters sure seem to be getting shorter?

mainly because i havent had any issues with these blades for over a year now and know at some point soon I would need to replace them and i have 0 issues with them. I could start using the cheapest blades I can again, but it would be nice to keep getting these blades again because i have 0 issues with them. not like after a month or two they streak or vibrate across window or nothing...they have 1 job to do and they have done that perfectly fine.

to each their own I guess. I just wanted to know who made them or what the OEM ones were.
Not sure where you live or what conditions your vehicles are subjected to, but if you’re looking for a year or two out of a pair, then I still think most any of the common brands would be just fine (other people posted brands already so I won’t repeat).

I get that you want to know the specific brand (beyond motorcraft), but it may be tough to find on a simple part like this. If you can get ahold of an OEM box, perhaps the fine print gives something away. Or maybe the metal or rubber on the blade itself shows something. But as someone else also said, there's a chance it was multiple manufactures, not just one, providing such parts to Ford. The Mav is NOT a high dollar vehicle, so whomever were “the lowest bidders,” the idea that they may be supplying Ford “cheaper quality parts” can certain ring true for this.

I have 6 years on my PIAA’s. This is not to brag or tout the brand. Much of it undoubtably has to do with where I live. But it’s more to say that I think a year or two from any halfway decent brand should be realistic. With other higher end blades, I’ve gotten 3-4 years. Pure silicone blades tend to last the longest for me.

The other benefit from pure silicone blades like my PIAA’s is that they help keep the glass acting as if it has RainX on it and help the water bead and shed off. I do not have PIAA on the Mav yet, as I too am waiting to see when the OEM blades start going bad. But when they do eventually fail, I will for sure get more PIAA’s, as they are best for my overall preferences. I have the PIAA’s on other vehicles.

You should brag on them, and I doubt it's just where you live. I've been buying PIAA silicone blades (Si-Tech) to replace factory wipers for years, and I get at least five years out of every set, even if the vehicle isn't garaged. The coating of silicone they keep on the windshield acts like rain-x too.

EDIT: totally missed your comments about Rain-X that mirror mine...

Unfortunately they don't show the Maverick on their fitment guide at the moment, but I'll certainly be replacing mine with PIAA silicone if they're available by that time.

Think I might get the Motorcraft ones again and see if they're as good as the stock ones. Running Rain-X for the past 6 months and I can say they're really bad. Lots of streaks.

Too funny! I also see I didn’t proof reed so wel, so I corrected some extra words extra words of mine! :D

Yes, the silicone layer the PIAA’s deposit/shed on the glass really does help (yet they don’t wear down). I wouldn’t necessarily compare it to a “fresh coat of RainX,” but it’s still quite good. My PIAA’s came with towelettes of a similar liquid rain repellant of their own, which I used as well. I suspect this further extends the life of the blades, as it makes the glass slicker and results in less wear and tear on them.

What I DID do to my Mav was a full ceramic coat (Gtechniq brand) on the windshield day 1 since new. This is holding up far longer than a single application of RainX. (And I do like RainX a lot). I tried the Ceramic just to see how it compares. One year later and it’s still probably 80% as good as it was new. However, it does take more prep than RainX. So in that regard, maybe not worth it. Not sure yet. I am still going to keep this single application of ceramic to see how long I can milk it out.

I'll take that constant layer over having to re-apply Rain-X any day. I very rarely have to use wipers when there's moderate rain at highway speeds. It seems to make the windshield easier to clean as well.

This will further "not" answer the OP's question (LOL), but in recent years I've been buying just rubber inserts off of Amazon and reusing factory blades (Honda, Mazda, Toyota). Haven't looked at the Mav rubber inserts to see of I can continue that practice.

No, the Mav has the newer "beam"-type wipers, so you would need to replace first with the wipers that take blade inserts, then you can replace the inserts. That's what I've been doing with PIAA.

Ford Maverick OEM Wiper Blade Manufacturer? IMG_1633

A bit off topic but on my list of “woes me” 1st world problems being a Ford Maverick owner, does anyone else find this mildly annoying how the wiper hits this trim…

I bought a Motorcraft set from Rock Auto and they were made in China, I was disappointed to see that.

I know early on some people had the incorrect blade installed on the passenger side (drive and passenger blades are different sizes) from the factory. Mine does not do that.
