The key is, what was your dad doing during the war?
My dad was too young for WWII service. He was busy plowing fields all day long with the Farmall H. Milking cows at dusk & dawn. He and my grandfather had one of the largest dairy herds in the state during the 1940's. When I started learning to drive tractors 50 years ago, he shared how he spent so many hours on the tractor during the day, he would dream about it all night long.

I'm definitely GenX. my dad turned 18 in 1974 so he wasn't in any wars. my grandfathers (2 + 1 step-) all fought in vietnam, one of them in an AC-47 gunship. he's in the registry, Locke: http://www.specialoperations.net/Spooky.htm

his stepson sold all his medals and other memorabilia. I talked to my dad, aunt and uncle and none of them really had any interest in getting them back because he wasn't as successful in family life as he was in military life.
My dad was born in 40. I came along in the middle of 64. I'm a boomer, but I relate with the GenX crowd I grew up with.

Dad was born in 39 so... he probably didn't do anything. But from what I was told Boomer generation ends the year I was born. So I'm kinda on the bubble.
My dad was born in 1932. He was in the Korean war. But if you were born in 1964, you are a Boomer. 1965 makes you Gen X.

Who is the target market for Ford Maverick?

2022 Ford Maverick is a Big Winner with Millennials and Gen Z, and that's No Cap

I am just curious, how many of us are Millennial or GenZ?

Just turned 68. After my 97 GMC Sonoma failed state inspection, I looked for a smaller truck. The replacement Canyon/Colorado were a little too big and a lot too expensive. Same with the Ranger. The Maverick is 10 inches longer than the Sonoma, but the price (under $30K out the door) was what I was looking for.

sorry to hear that.. but yes similar, not as bad. the best thing about my grandad is that he got into personal computing very early. he had an IBM pc jr and I thought it was cool as hell, although slow. I've been into technology ever since.
Good for you, I wish you lived close to SA😉
Actually, after being an engine testing lab technician for 30 years I spent the last 7 working with excel reporting expenses and making graphs showing how we were doing spending wise. Sadly, I’ve probably forgotten most of it or what I did know is sooooo out of date. 🤪

This Gen X-er loved it and wanted it. Now my Gen-Z kid loves it and prefers to drive it over our very fun Mini convertible.

I’m 72. I traded in a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat 4x4 for a 2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid. The Maverick is easier to get in and out of for my wife and guests. The gas mileage is out of sight too.

I'm 69 years old. After years of F-150s, I aged out of them. Too high, too big, too expensive to fill and maintain. How often did I need a full sized bed? Never. Living in a fixed income now, the Maverick was the perfect option and has fit my every need. So, no, it's not just an entry level vehicle. Those of us approaching the exit ramp like it too.

Who else but a boomer can afford one?
well, for one, everyone that has bought an Escape, Bronco Sport, Edge, Ranger, F-150 or Explorer can afford a Maverick. they probably can afford a lariat Maverick.
