That’s what I thought. It’s frustrating when it seems that the customers know more about this process than the dealer.

My truck is delivering soon and I’ve asked my dealer for the OTD price with X-Plan, but the salesperson said he will give me the price when he gets the invoice. Shouldn’t they have the invoice if my truck was built and is almost the dealership? It seems that this guy doesn’t really know anything

My truck was shipped 9/9 and now has a delivery date of 9/14-9/20. That seems insane to me, but we’ll see! Would that be a record?? Lol I’m in California near Yosemite

Shipped last night 9/9 with the same ETA. Ford chat was kind enough to give me the rail car number, so I will be tracking that for sure!

I don’t believe so since the plant is in Mexico and operates 24/7. I think they only shut down a week or two in July, if I’m not mistaken. Does seem they are a tad backed up though

Update: Finally built 9/08/24 with ETA of 9/27-10/3

I used the chat function on Fords website. I just let them know what’s up and if they could see any reason for the delay on their end. That was the first time I received useful information regarding the order tbh

Nice! Mines still in production. I contacted Ford and they said it has returned from the body shop and has an ETA of 9/27-10/3, but still not sure of the hold up. 3 weeks transport is pretty good!

Interesting. I’m curious because it seems like even the builds a week ago were built and shipped within a day. I know people have waited wayyyy longer, but it is still frustrating. I hope things get rolling soon

Hey, I just got an email update from Ford saying my truck is still being built and is experiencing unexpected delays. Anyone have any information on what’s going on or if you’re experiencing the same? For reference, I ordered a ‘24 XLT Hybrid Lux on 5/31/24, scheduled 8/26, in production 8/30...

Dude same. My modules have been populated since last Friday and I have a tear tag. Still says in production
