It's about time, but not with that front end! They could have done soooo much better.
I also wonder if the 4K package could be getting added? It seems like it would be a real stretch, but maybe they'll still have managed to bump up over the current 2K limit. Time will tell.

Eh, spending anything more than $40k for a Maverick is bad. The build quality and interior is pretty bad. I would not spend over $40k for the my25 unless they improved the interior reduce all the rattles. I bet the lariat awd hybrid with some packages will be easily $50k otd
No way 50k....that's midsize territory. 43-44k max.

The AWD option on an Escape is $1500. Priced a platinum hybrid and without is 38610, with is 40110 so $1500. Hopefully this holds true for Maverick and there isn't a premium for it being AWD on a truck.
It is a premium on the Escape - only offering the Hybrid AWD drivetrain on ST-Line and above.

I'll say this - I have an order in for a 2024. If that's the front end of the 2025, I'm really glad that I'm waiting on a 2024 because I really don't like that.

Somehow Ford always seems to screw up something that was already nice looking...

Plug in doesn't make much sense over the regular hybrid. It will cost a lot more, weigh more, and take decades to recoup the cost of the upgrade if not more.

Example, 30 miles electric on 12 kWh useable (pretty standard for Maverick shape).

7500 miles all electric costs about $450

7500 miles at 40mpg costs about $650.

That is 30 miles x 5 days a week x 50 weeks a year. Basically best case for plugin usage.
My wife’s Escape PHEV qualified for a $5000 Federal and will soon get a $4000 Provincial rebate, after discounts it’s actually less expensive than the Hybrid Escape. Plus Ford recently lowered the PHEV pricing around $4000 in Canada.

Now I just have to talk my mother in law into trading in here Ecosport. She does microbial fertilization work for farms and green spaces. She's been kicking around a shortbed 2002 Ranger with a spray kit. This should give her the ability setup a sprayer in the bed and haul a small trailer with a gator or something like that on it. And get better mpg than her current car.

Wow, amazing how you seem to know what people need.
I on
Big question for me is how much will the AWD Hybrid MPG be affected. Certainly will carrying more weight.
I think it will be close to the regular hybrid. I coaxed 31.2 mpg out of tank with my Tremor. Station to station 300 miles of rural highway. The only extra rotating mass is the axleshafts and the rest of the AWD system might weight 120 lbs. That's only like 1 Mila Kunis.
