  1. Would you buy hybrid again yes or no

Yes, both my wife and I had one, my son is driving mine now and hers is a third car we just use now and then. Supper reliable, CMax's initially had 12V battery problems but we were never effected.
  2. When I pulled my car keys out, beeping 2 times

I think when it’s happened for me the passenger door was open already. Probably a warning that the key is still in the car.
  3. Not having much luck getting these rails installed…

You probably have some of the Rhino Lining sprayed in the hole, I had to tap some of mine .

My wife’s Escape PHEV qualified for a $5000 Federal and will soon get a $4000 Provincial rebate, after discounts it’s actually less expensive than the Hybrid Escape. Plus Ford recently lowered the PHEV pricing around $4000 in Canada.
  6. PHEV pollution much higher than it should be

We just picked it up last weekend. So far 17k off with another 4K from our provincial government in July if their budget gets approved.

  8. Adding another Ford Hybrid to our household.

Adding another Ford Hybrid to our household. I’ll be picking up an Escape PHEV on April 27th for my wife. I was able to find a 2023 that had the options we wanted and with the federal, provincial and Ford discounts it ended up being cheaper than my Maverick by $4000.
  9. Maverick Hybrid Dead Until Key Turned On

I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago with no indication of deep sleep notifications. My truck was parked at work and wouldn’t respond to pressing the door unlock on the key or key pad. When using the actual key the count down for the alarm started but stopped when the vehicle started. It...
  10. Wiper Well Ice blocks forming while driving in this frigid snow storm

I noticed the same issue myself the last few days, I could hear the wiper motor try to move wipers lower due to the blockage in the well. I was able to use a small snow scrapper and reach in and clear it out.
  11. Block Heater cord

Yes I’m thinking all remote starts factory or otherwise won’t work with the hood open. I didn’t want to unclip the factory cord and try to run it outside the hood, it was easier to use a short extension and place it just in front of the hood. I just run another cord to the plug . Sorry I...
  12. Block Heater cord

I’ve been remote starting mine with the block heater cord plugged in! I also ran a 5ft extension in the engine bay and ran it out to the front passenger side of the hood over the head light.

  16. Slippery mode is beneficial

I tried using slippery mode in the snow but noticed that there's way less regen as compared to eco mode. At first I thought something was wrong as I needed to use more brake pedal effort than I was used to.
  17. What did you drive before the Maverick?

I was driving a 2014 CMax Hybrid, and occasionally using my 1989 Mustang. Two totally opposite vehicles.
  18. 2023 Hybrid Oil Change Pudding Surprise!

I stand corrected, just checked my Hybrid Maverick and noticed some of the same froth under the fill cap. I wouldn’t be worried , it’s just short trips with the engine cycling on and off during cold weather. Like I mentioned above I’ve seen that on the two CMax Hybrids we have and they are 8...
