Yes, both my wife and I had one, my son is driving mine now and hers is a third car we just use now and then. Supper reliable, CMax's initially had 12V battery problems but we were never effected.
My wife’s Escape PHEV qualified for a $5000 Federal and will soon get a $4000 Provincial rebate, after discounts it’s actually less expensive than the Hybrid Escape. Plus Ford recently lowered the PHEV pricing around $4000 in Canada.
I’m picking up a 2023 Escape PHEV for my wife next weekend, she’s been driving a CMax Hybrid, other than driving to our cottage on the highway she should be able stay electric 99% of the time.
Adding another Ford Hybrid to our household. I’ll be picking up an Escape PHEV on April 27th for my wife.
I was able to find a 2023 that had the options we wanted and with the federal, provincial and Ford discounts it ended up being cheaper than my Maverick by $4000.

I’ve been remote starting mine with the block heater cord plugged in!
I also ran a 5ft extension in the engine bay and ran it out to the front passenger side of the hood over the head light.
2300 miles on my Hybrid XLT, zero problems and loving it. I got lucky and was able to take over someone else’s order, I only waited 3 months for it to arrive.
I tried using slippery mode in the snow but noticed that there's way less regen as compared to eco mode. At first I thought something was wrong as I needed to use more brake pedal effort than I was used to.
I stand corrected, just checked my Hybrid Maverick and noticed some of the same froth under the fill cap. I wouldn’t be worried , it’s just short trips with the engine cycling on and off during cold weather. Like I mentioned above I’ve seen that on the two CMax Hybrids we have and they are 8...
