Just wanted to share the problems I"v had with my 2022 XLT Maverick so far:

- @27,000 miles - Broken transmission, replaced with new one. (Took 4 months...)

- @33,600 miles (TODAY) - Bad CV Axles, Currently working it with the dealer ....

VERY BAD SO FAR.... but, thats what we get with the first gen 2022 Mavs 🤣🤣

The only thing I have towed like 8 times is my 15ft Boston Whaler boat, only about 800-900 pounds, so no huge loads there, and relatively easy drives

You might be looking at a lemon law buyback, if something else goes wrong.
Puerto Rico doesn't have an automotive lemon law equivalent, and besides lemon laws are for unresolvable issues.

Is it lifted, exceeding the CV joint angles? Short drives less than a half hour, lots of hill climbing, lots of stop-starts, towing, heavy loads all mean that you should be adhering to the severe duty maintenance schedule. Realistically at least 90% of the vehicles out there should be on severe-duty schedule from any manufacturer. The Maverick severe duty transmission fluid change interval is only 30,000mi.

Some people can't find their own ass with two hands and a map. When the OP mentioned problems the first thing I looked at was whether or not it was a hybrid. Reading is fundamental. ;)

Depends on the state. In Washington, it would qualify based on being out of service for a certain time. I think it's 30 days or more.

Well he's at 27k and into a new tranny, with towing a max of 900 lbs just 15 times, stop making excuses it's not normal.

We need to hold Ford's feet to the fire, the issues with this vehicle (especially CV axles which are happening with an alarming regularity and the plethora of hybrid issues) are inexcusable. I get it, it's a unique vehicle that is/was hard to get ahold of but let's be honest half of us are just waiting until Toyota comes out with something similar and we're gonna trade it in for that.

80% of my driving time (to work) is flat highways, no heavy towing, climbing, etc. It was a real Lemon Tranny 😅. Truck is bone stock, havent even changed the original tires
