2500 miles of driving with shaking axles was enough to wear out my front tires...
Did the dealer take care of you on those or was that on you ?

I bought a set of Toyo extensas...

No way the dealership is going to cover tires...
I didn't think so, but since the faulty CV axles caused your premature tire wear, it would have been nice if they did.

I just had my Mav in for a third set (Original , 20K and now 50K again), this time they put the new versions SZ.
Picked it up yesterday and its just not smooth at all, doesn't really shake but just feels different more stiff almost like there's friction somewhere.. mostly from front driver side... might take it in again =\

Any issues on yours? @Vaportrail @AF Blue

Also why is that SZ6Z-3B437-C ( I believe its the driver's side) shows as "this part doesn't match your vehicle" for the MAV Hybrid in parts.ford.com and other ford parts websites?

I have not had time to install mine yet.
I was going by my VIN (Model year 2023).

If you search the same part for a 2024 Maverick (hybrid), it "fits".

Is the CV axle issue specific to the hybrids ? ECO Mav's have CV axles also.

Not sure.... all i know is I'm on the third set and its still not perfect =\

Ahh ok I see it now.. however its still weird as I have a 2022 not a 2024... so i was just wondering since its still not good... but i guess they installed what they thought should fit... i didn't provide them the part numbers this last time.

You said that you didn't provide them the new part numbers. Provide them to who ? Ford ? if the work is done at Ford, shouldnt they know their vehicles and what the correct parts are ? We shouldn't have to tell them what parts to use.

Is making noise?

How long did you drive it while it had shaking front end?

How bad did the shaking get?

Is your truck stock, or lifted/lowered?

I installed a coilover kit, and dropped it right after I replaced tires and had the axles replaced.

Haven't had any issues since.

That's what i meant, they picked those part numbers and told me its the new revision so i assume its correct even though it is marked as "not fit" for my VIN on ford's website....

it was as soon as i left the dealership and jumped on the highway i noticed something is wrong, it was already in the evening so i just texted them and they are checking to see when i can bring it back in.

It feels like a light vibration , ride is not smooth at all not sure how to describe it... not the same style shake of when the older ones were faulty.. this is more like something has friction that shouldn't be, more stiff with gentle vibration.

Truck is all stock, no mods at all.

You probably need a new control arm assembly, since the bushings can't be replaced separately.

The shaking from bad axles can wear out the bushings.

Did you purchase an extended service plan?
