I found another ACM tweak but I am not sure it would be useful to anyone but I was able to add this menu to the vehicle settings in the radio. I don’t know if this menu is already in some mavericks or not.

Enable Door Keypad Code Menu
1. ACM
2. Enable “Vehicle Settings”
That screen is present by default on 22's and 23's with the keypad.

Just checked and your as built codes are 100% different than mine. They are completely different and that kind of stumps me. It makes me think the 2024s coding is a lot different for some reason. I took pictures of all my ACM settings the as built and the easy mode.

Thanks. All of my values match those for my VIN but I still can't change the animation. And I have a Lariat Lux so I should have an APIM module showing up in Forscan, but i don't.

It has to be a Forscan problem that they should fix in an update because the ST animation should work. and from my understanding every ford that has sync has an APIM so that should be showing up too. My XL doesn’t have sync or an APIM I don’t think. So Maybe the APIM in your lariat lux is what is interfering with writing that ST animation code.

I'm going to go through and change as many as built values as I can (before my brain locks up) to the values found for my VIN at https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt. I doubt if it will bring up the APIM module but perhaps I can finally change the animation setting. Good thing I'm retired because I would never put in this much effort for a boss. :D

Those numbers should be the same as what your numbers are from the factory. Any difference should be just from Forscan mods you have done so far. It will likely show you codes for modules that even Forscan doesn’t show like your APIM module.

I could narrow down what line of ACM as built coding changes when I change the ST animation setting and then see if it will write for you using that one line of as built coding. I admire your effort and I would like to help you try to get this working lol there has to be some type of work around. Another thing I thought of is to make sure your Bluetooth and Apple car play is not connected when writing the code. And radio off but the display screen can be on.

I've already found hex values that are different in the APM, IPMA and IPC. That is, in addition to the values that changed when I enabled Traffic Sign Recognition. If you have the time would you mind seeing if you have a C-CM module and let me know the values in the easy mode? I don't see the C-CM module in screen shots in a google image search of Maverick modules.

Edit: The ACM as built code after changing the animation would be great. Thanks.

Also I do not have a CCM module showing at all.

There's usually only 1 character in the hex codes that changes to adjust the actual settings, the rest of those characters are variable based on the VIN, like an encryption key. Every model year, every trim package could have some variables with different codes, but the VIN is the biggest factor with what you mentioned, so your values will always be different from other trucks, you just need to know which position in the hex number has to change, which can be different for each setting.

Until there's enough people willing to share the full as-built data for various builds, and their VIN numbers to match, we don't stand much chance at fully mapping the hex codes. I've offered before to take a stab at this, but no takers so far on sharing those details.

Consider this an open invite to all who read it, PM me the details if you want to contribute.

Here's a template:

Year:
Model:
Engine:
Drive Type:
Optional Packages:
VIN Number:

Then attach the full list of As-Built data codes, copied or downloaded from the motorcraft service website.

Ok so I posted this before but I think I accidentally deleted it but. For the ST animation try this ACM as built code instruction.

727-08-01
XXXX-XXXX-XX*X

+1 to whatever number is in that second to last slot that has the *

for example for the standard ford animation my number was 6 in this slot. I changed it to 7 and that changed it to the ST animation.
