I have seen some people on here say that before. Have you used Slippery mode for a whole tank of fuel? What was your mileage?Slippery mode gives the best mileage - even better than eco mode.
I have a 2023 eco 2.0 lariat had it 6mo great veh !!! No issuesHello,
Been lurking this forum since finding out and ordering a Maverick hybrid.
Would like to ease nerves and see who has a hybrid that has little to no problems. I placed an order recently and hesitant on hybrid.
But at the same time it fits all the marks in what I need in a vehicle
-gas efficient( I drive over 40miles a day)
-cargo space(bed to hold oversized items)
-passenger seats(family)
-durable?(cv axles big issue?)
Primarily used as a work vehicle, carrying tools as well, current vehicle gets crammed very fast. Anyways Thanks. And hope to join the club soon.
I use it whenever I remember to enable it, which is most of the time for local driving. Exception is when it's really cold, the truck is cold and I need heat. Then, I use Sport mode for the first mile or so, to run the ICE more. Then I turn on the heater once the temp gauge moves a bit.I have seen some people on here say that before. Welcome!! I think you'll love your truck. I ordered a 2023 Lariat Lux Hybrid back in Sept 2022 and finally got it in June 2023. Since then, I've put on a little over 7,000 miles and still love the truck. The only issue I've experienced so far is the newest recall for turn signals. I've had no deep sleep issues, no major electric issues or anything else for that matter.Hello,

We've (family of 3) taken it on 2 big road trips (one to Ohio and one to Cape Cod - we live in Vermont) and there was plenty of room for 2 adults a child and all the luggage needed.
Taking it to the dealer this week to get the turn signal recall completed and will also do my first oil change.
Bought a 2022 maverick lariat hybrid. Have 63000 miles on it. Just finished a trip from west Virginia to Las Vegas to San diego back to Vegas then back to west Virginia. About 5800 miles round trip.Hello,

Lots of people don't know what they're talking about. The 2.5 hybrid system is even more reliable than the motor used in those old crown vics according to taxi companies that had escape hybrids and crown vics alike. People are just afraid of change.Um, you do know that Ford's hybrid system is nearly identical to Toyota's, to the point that Ford pays them license fees? Ford has been making hybrid Escapes since 2004 IIRC, and those have good reputations for longevity. The transmission is ludicrously simple, with very few moving parts (like, under 20 depending on how you count things like bearings.) The transmission will not fall apart like Honda or Chrysler minivans.
