I guess Ford got most of the bugs worked out in the eleven years from when you ordered your Mav, 2012, and when it was delivered in 2023?????:unsure::D:D
Evidently 👍

I can't speak to the 2024 model. I have had the 2023 model XLT LUX 1 full year (Hybrid) and have had no mechanical issues.
I drive about 50 miles a day total.
I live in Michigan and this is my second winter with the trucklet. Average mileage for the year, (normal mode for city, day time driving lights off) 47 mpg and some change. Some 9 mile trips, 56 mpg.
My truck has been used at work to hual multiple 1000 pound loads. I put it in haul mode and it's a different truck entirely.
On the freeway I put it in sport and get great mileage when the electric and gas work together. I have been on 2 1600 mile all freeway drives through multiple states and into the mountains.
Hi Mav Mom
You running snow tires in winter? Or just all seasons...

We have a 2023 Lariet hybrid that just turned its first 1000 miles. We have only put gas in it once since we got it Nov 16. We traded in a 2023 Ranger that we only had for 6 months. Couldn‘t be happier with our Maverick!

I love mine. Not one problem so far but I just got it in Sept. I do think it will have a 12 volt battery problem way, way before it should and it will be a chronic problem. I live in a rural area my driving has been on 50-60 mph roads and 5% city. 43.4 mpg so far will be going on a 500 mile interstate trim later this month we will see I am guessing 34.

Hi Mav Mom

I am using the original factory tires. Almost 14,000 miles on the truck, I have had them rotated twice so far. The front wheel drive has worked pretty well during the couple of snow storms and 1 ice storm we have had this year.

Hello,
Been lurking this forum since finding out and ordering a Maverick hybrid.
Would like to ease nerves and see who has a hybrid that has little to no problems. I placed an order recently and hesitant on hybrid.
But at the same time it fits all the marks in what I need in a vehicle
-gas efficient( I drive over 40miles a day)
-cargo space(bed to hold oversized items)
-passenger seats(family)
-durable?(cv axles big issue?)
Primarily used as a work vehicle, carrying tools as well, current vehicle gets crammed very fast. Anyways Thanks. And hope to join the club soon.
I've got 8500 miles on my Lariat Hybrid and have had absolutely no problems what-so-ever. I am getting 43.0 mpg for the first 8500 miles.

22 hybrid xlt, no issues, 4 total recalls, my local dealer completed 3 of them at once, one was the airbag replacement which requires total interior removal, afterward I could not tell that they were in my vehicle...I have just under 24k miles on it mostly just putting around town, it's a satisfying vehicle you won't be disappointed...

I ordered in sept 22 and got it dec 23. I originally ordered a hybrid XLT, but switched to eco-boost XLT AWD when I had to redo my order after a year. Been very happy with it. Getting about 24-25 mpg. I do a lot of back road driving for my job. Love that the inserts are very easy to remove and clean. Had one recall for turn signal but that’s it. Will probably upgrade the tires at some point but did use the truck during a snowstorm recently and it did pretty good when I had to put in low.

I love my 2022 Ford Maverick. I did not get the hybrid and I do a lot of in town driving so my mileage isn't as good as highway driving. However, it's better or the same for all lightweight gas vehicles. There has been a couple of recalls which my Ford dealer took care of and there is a turn signal recall out now that I need to schedule. My husband and son are over 6' tall. So, my son rides in the backseat behind me with my seat pushed up forward. There is not much room in the back for a tall person if both front seats are pushed back. I bought some stackable bins at Menards that I use to hold my many groceries. If you look at my history, you should see those posts. You will enjoy it!

Mine has been trouble free since picking it up in Feb. last year. Have all those recent little recalls that I haven't bothered with, but nothing major.

Have always been a Honda and Toyota guy and always kinda figured it was going to have some Ford quality control issues, being a low cost, new model. But honestly, Honda and Toyota have just and many issues these days, so brand loyalty is kinda useless since all brands use global manufacturing.

My Maverick has exceeded all my expectations. As far as features to value, there really isn't anything like it. Highly recommend.
Agree with your evaluation; it was hard to mentally shift from four flawless Subaru experiences to preparing for a Ford experience, especially a first-year new (unproven) model, but I had 14 months to convince myself while I waited for my my 22 lariat hybrid to arrive. I have to say that after 37k miles it has exceeded my expectations. Mileage is just amazing, especially in rush hour stop and go traffic. My dealer Holman Ford has been great to work with, getting in in and out for minor recalls and routine service. Yes I would do it again!

I have not yet taken my 23 hybrid in for the first oil change and recall crap. I've only got 5K miles on her. But... I've had little trouble. One time I had the frozen infotainment screen. I just took the batter cable off for a minute and everything went back to normal. The only other issue I've had is the driver's door locking itself when I exit the car (only sometimes).

49.6 MPG on the screen. 47.7 at the pump. I'm very happy.
