No buyers regret. Nice zippy little car/truck.

I use the Mav mostly as grocery getter, smaller Home Depot pick ups and longer highway hauls where I don’t need pull my big trailer.

Side swing tailgate would be nice for store runs.

Also slight upwards tilt to the infotainment screen and less aggressive acceleration on the ACC. Putting the back seats up from folded also a pain.

mostly minor but the side swing tailgate would be my biggest want

and less aggressive acceleration on the ACC.
Funny, I have the opposite complaint. Its too aggressive on deacceleration. It will see the car in front of me, it should know its speed, but it won't start slowing down until it hits the follow distance, and it feels like its slamming the brakes instead of gradually slowing down.

Yes. Probably the acceleration feels aggressive because the deceleration is aggressive.

Only used it one brief trip so far but it was a bit nerve wracking.

Couple things don’t bother me at all that I thought would are dial shifter and auto off

actually like the dial shifter and auto off not the major nuisance it was portrayed as on this forum.

I do not have ACC; I do not yet even have my Maverick. I know I should read the manual again, but I was thinking you can adjust the distance at which the system engages. If you increased the distance at which the system engaged, would it not perhaps decelerate less
aggressively? Just asking....

no, acceleration and deceleration would be at the same rate for the new distance

I took my first trip from Sarasota Fl, to Hilton Head S.C. using cruise control with the distance set at the most distance between cars, and it was smooth with no jerking rubber banding. This spacing lets cars pass you, then get in front of you without your car braking due to space provided for them to continue moving towards the car you were following, thereby not needing to make any sudden slow down decelleration. Your truck will adjust the distance behind that car, or if he crosses to another lane, will close up the gap again smoothly.

That’s great on more open roads but in traffic you can’t leave that much space between you and vehicle ahead. I’m getting used to it now but still wish it was a bit smoother on the accelerator

on a positive note the B&O system is much better than I anticipated

Not real happy about how easily the door trim scuffs. Only a few weeks old and nothing to warrant this. My 7 yr old Tacoma interior has minimal scuffs and it’s used for work

also got the dreaded one tailgate wire longer than the other. So far minor stuff that’s likely typical of a first year build.
