    At or just after the sale, the sales manager (at least at my dealer) has to manually process the points on to your account. I do not believe it is an automated process. After he told me that he did it, it took 2-3 days to become usable for me.

    I thought that might be it, because I usually press "Start" before putting on my seat belt. I just went and tried it out. I sat in the seat, put on seat belt first, then pressed "Start."
