I would say yes but im not really sure because i dont own a XLT non lux. But as long you remove the cover of the steering control module you find the conector on the back it should have the option of just getting the steering wheel with the heater on it and plugged to the clockspring if it has the terminal should be as simple as enabling with forscan
Costco is usually a nickel or so cheaper around here. Always massive lines. Find it amazing people will wait in lines travel farther. Just to save a nickel.
I agree, traveling further and idling on line will waste that nickel. I used to go to them twice a week on my route. Strange thing is, I noticed my fuel would last a little longer than when I would use a different brand.
But yeah most fuels are the same except for the name on the truck.

The only time I had bad gas (not a joke) was years ago. The Ford V8 in the 1975 150 chugged to a stand still. Eventually, I found a mixture of gas and water on the butterfly intake...

Costco is a little out of the way for me, but I have not heard anyone near me complaining about it.

I have never had bad gas, including Costco. Our Costco is usually 15-20 cents per gallon cheaper in our area. Usually Sams and Costco are the same price.

Call me crazy but I noticed the same thing over here in San Diego, get different milage from different Costcos here in SD, I thought it was me but seems like there might be some truth to it, not that its Costcos fault either but whoever is selling the gas might be cutting some corners

Not Costco gas but one of the better Brands. In mid 80's my friend the insurance adjuster was writing checks to have cars towed to be repaired from bad gas. Some how the cleaning solution between pipeline pigs (traveling wipers which keep products from mixing in a pipeline) did not trip the slop tank valves properly or the cleaning solution was mixed with the regular gas. The cars that purchased that gas would have some rubber hose items or carburetor parts dissolved within 3-12 miles from the stations. They got pumps shut down pretty darn quick but he had 200-300 claims to pay for.

Not sure where the dealer filled up was done but the 4 times filling up since has been costco and have not had any issues. It's on my way to work, usually 15-20 cents less (currently 35 cents less than most places around) plus I get the extra 4% on gas purchases and I fill up in the AM before the store is open so not many people are usually there.

Ridiculous click bait. People need to stop believing and spreading stupid internet bullshit.
Possible one Costco gas station has a contaminated fuel tank, yes, Costco in general, no.

As everyone knows gas is gas until it's in the tanker truck then it becomes a brand.
No, not true that gas is gas. Everyone uses different fillers.

Back when I was driving my Integra that was loud, I tried out Quick trips gas (back when QT was new in town their premium was cheaper than the averages 87), so I gave it a try in my integra. It sounded like it was choking my engine, off the bat it didn't sound smooth. The car didn't feel jerky either just sounded the engine was chocking the entire tank full. At the next fill up at a different gas station, it was gone. It was the only time I tried QT and it was my last. I could only hear it because it was loud, my friend's on the other hand couldn't notice any sound difference because it was quiet no matter what.

Cheap and bad gas, I believe it. Only get it if your planning on trading or keep it short term.

Maybe it is the same in context, but...

Gas is gas, it's the additives that differentiating factor between different gas stations....

This is the correct answer! Gas is Gas until the addictives are mixed into the gas. The addictives used is difference between cheap gas and top tier gas!

Thing is Costco is top tier gas. If it was on my route I may go there but it's not.

Has anyone encountered bad gas from Costco lately? It’s been reported on local news in Atlanta lately and more people are coming forward with this issue. Not sure how wide spread it is.
Hmmm, I've always had great gas from Costco. Great prices too. More than paid for my membership.
