When I had my shop, we used to install hitch-mounted snow plows on unibody vehicles. I used to tell these customers the same thing - don't let the storm get more than 2-3" ahead of you and don't try to compact snow stacks with the vehicle.

The problem with the Maverick is more about the EcoBoost motors and the intercooler. The plow blocks airflow to it and can cause overheating. That's why the only Ford truck below the SuperDuty level rated for a plow is the F-150 with a V8.

NO NO NO. I remember back when the S10 blazer was out. It had a full frame. The dealer I worked at put a small plow on it. The frame broke a few times. Mav no full frame I wouldn't.

right. you can get a pretty effective snowblower for $600-1000 compared to destroying a 25K-40K vehicle. if it's a bigger job than a $2500 snowblower can handle, get a tractor.

Well, my 2024 Maverick AWD (ordered in Sept 2023, not being build until Feb 2024) did not come in time for the 10 inches of snow on my driveway.....but it does beg the question...can this size truck take a small snow plow? I live in the Poconos and it looks like this winter will have actual snow....
No.

Maybe one designed for a Side by side (Razor type). Someone came in my store yesterday with a Subaru Mini Truck (JDM) with one. If it works on that, Maybe if you can bracket it right.

As said don't do it. Unibody, no place solid to mount securely charging system and springs might take a beating. I get the impulse to throw a plow on it Heated seats and wheel. Comfortable and warm. Find a small tractor with a heated cab. After you have a tractor loader for a while you'll never know how you lived without one. Leave the maverick for light duty and mpgs.

Definitely not. I used to sell Fords, and the F150 was not rated for a plow except for a specific configuration. I had a customer insist on getting a plow installed on his F150 crew cab, and when it finally got installed, the front suspension sagged due to the weight of the plow. The Maverick isn't meant for a plow.

I would agree with "No,No,No" and ad never, ever.
If you run into anything solid, such as a curb ? I think you are likely to total your brand new Maverick right there.

You'd have difficulty attaching the plow without a frame and it would kill your Mav. It's not designed for it and not heavy-duty enough.

I hear y'all loud and clear......so, if and when my Maverick which was ordered on 6 Sept 2023...and scheduled for manufacture in Feb 2024....if and when I get it...I will not even THINK of putting a snowplow on it..... now....about anti-rust / undercoating...? My area of PA uses road salt alot.

Unibody............. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Just NO. You need a Truck on FRAME. I Promise that YOU WILL VOID any sort of warranty. Everyone else says the same. Unless you are going to get a NEW truck after the first PLOW. It is a Glorified CAR. NO FRAME! I would rather put a PLOW on my Crown Victoria, She has a FRAME! But NO; Just NO! I have a F350 Dually. I would not do it on her either. I mean it COULD, I use her to comfortably haul a 5th Wheel and a 25ft Toon. Frames get BENT........Need to make them last. JUST DON'T DO IT!

If you're in Stroudsburg did you order from Ray Price? Grew up in Eburg and my dad bought a few vehicles there. Get a good blower and you'll be better off or hope for more rain storms like today's lol.
