Sleeping in the Maverick Cab. Yes, it is doable, but....

Longer cab and bed? Lord no, then it'd be just like every other truck. If I need to spend the night somewhere I'll get a hotel. Getting too old to be sleeping in trucks.

However, if I really wanted to sleep in the bed I'd use my marine grade beanbag. I use it for overnights on the boat or napping during fishing trips and that thing is comfortable AF.

Ya know if I wasn't getting a divorce I'd be right there with you. BUT, pretty soon I'm going to be getting back to the basics.

I'm thinking 6ft tall is about the max. But if your are 5'8" like me..... You can make a platform bed for the Maverick.

Mildly jealous as I'm 6'6" and enjoy folding all the seats flat in my current SUV. It allows it to convert into a nice nap pod when ever I like.

Wont be able to manage that in any shape or form with the new Mav . I may eventually build out a small camper box that extends out to a full 7' with tailgate down.

Took my tremor on its first all nighter kayak striper fishing trip. Worked out perfectly hauling the yak with harbor freight bed extender and slept like a rock for a few hours before making the 2 and a half hour trip home. Very comfortable compared to trying to sleep in my old ‘98 f150. I bought the stretchy cargo net that is advertised on the forum and basically strapped down the yak, placed all the gear and equipment on top and the sides and then put the cargo net over everything. Had the whole inside of the cab free!

I did, very cool, and have been thinking about something similar . I may go for something small, 1/2 bed width and only as high as the cab. That pulls out.

I was thinking of doing something like that in the future also. Keep everything below my tonneau cover. Camper boxes can be cumbersome. That is why I am taking it off and sleeping in my cab for my fishing trip .
