Maverick and a Ranger Splash! Size and color comparison

I couldn't resist parking next to to an extra cab Ranger Splash and getting some pictures. Didn't get a chance to see/meet the owner of the Ranger.

The length was almost Identical. My nose was out a little further, but his rear bumper was past mine. The Maverick is a little shorter (height) and definitely wider.

If there is any doubt about what color Cyber Orange is or isn't... It's NOT Splash Yellow...

I “wish” the maverick was slash yellow honestly instead of cyber orange “yellow”. Those are both nice looking trucks too. Rancheeto made me laugh btw, good stuff.

Great pics, thanks! I've only seen one cyber orange and it looked more schoolbus yellow to me than orange, but this pic truly highlights the difference.

P.S. That yellow Ranger is very clean for its age. Not sure where you are but we do not see many that clean in MI.

I always been a fan of those splashs, remember on the 90's with mustangs 3 spokes rims, those were the days.lol

And I also agree, cyber orange have a bit of yellowish just like a real orange would, but next to the splash there's no doubt about the uniqueness of our color.

Thanks for the comparison. That is the first time I have ever seen orange in the Mav. Usually I see a school bus.

I bought my Mav to replace a stolen Gen One Toyota Tacoma. I loved that truck and totally understand the love for the old Ford Rangers. That said, the Mav is infinitely better than my old Toyota and I wouldn't trade my Mav for a dozen of those old-tech, harsh-riding, 17 MPG, POCs.
