@jsus Lariat Pricing

I respectfully disagree...

IF you want a Lariat front wheel drive hybrid:

Take base Lariat price...deduct $720 for 2 wheel drive and add $1500 for Hybrid.
So your theory is that on XL and XLT, Hybrid is a $1500 up-charge, AWD is a $2220 up-charge, making EB AWD $2220 - $1500 == $720 more than Hybrid.

But, on Lariat, Hybrid is $1500 - $720 == $780 more than EB AWD?

No.

You're not Adam Savage. This is not a reasonable time to reject everyone else's reality and substitute your own.

No need for the $100 hitch if you order the 4k tow package.

Are you sure?
I looked over in the other thread with the spec sheet and it says the ecoboost is standard on the Lariat.

I think someone answered your question but I’ll respond just in case. Yes the EB is standard but so is AWD. With the Hybrid being FWD only, when you make the switch you’re subtracting AWD but adding Hybrid.

AWD cost is $2220
Hybrid cost is $1500

-$2220 + $1500 = -$720

In your initial calculation you essentially added the cost of the hybrid twice.

Yes, I went back and edited my original post. Sometimes I'm slow, but adventually I catch on.

The way I now read the note I circled in yellow is...

Unless already stated/added above.

After seeing the new ordering date of July 17th I was very tempted to order a new Tremor XLT to replace my 2022 XLT, FX4, 4k Tow, Area 51 Maverick. I love the added intelligent 4wd system with the locking transmission, locking rear diff, and better bumper angles and ground clearance but losing the 4k tow was a deal breaker.
I think I might get a travel trailer down the round in the 2200 to 2500lb range and I'll need the extra tow capacity and it comes with a trailer break controller and 7-pin connector. Man, if they had the 4k tow option for the Tremor I'd be all over it. I really don't know why they can't give that option and give the extra low final drive, HD radiator, transmission cooler and extra large cooling fan for the Tremor. Why does the Tremor package not have a 4K tow option too? Is the locking diff too weak to tow 4K pounds or the added 1" lift added too much weight to also do the 4k tow? Seems strange to me.
I would never recommend a Maverick as an RV hauler at any weight. You always buy way more truck than you need. Your lifestyle needs will change and grow over time and you don't want to be replacing your truck when you realize you need a larger or different type and heavier RV.

Ya, I believe your right. why should I buy a wimpy Maverick to haul a RV trailer when I could get a Tractor Trailer Truck. Thanks for the great idea. That way I'm prepared for whatever pops up in my future plans. I'll see what kind of trade in they will give me for my XLT down at the Freightliner dealer. ;)

Since my 2023 Lariat is already loaded, looks like the 2024 would go up $1,155 while losing the bed-rails included in the discount package and the keypad.
I think the bed rails are now standard with MY24 Lariat

I just did a side-by-side comparison:

IF they offer us dealer invoice, I'll still pay >$2,700 more than my original reservation. If not, the difference will be >$3,500, and actually more than my original order including the dealer's estimation for taxes and fees.

Interestingly enough, my reservation had a lower base price and lower destination fee than what the build & price is currently showing.

Maverick Compare.jpg
Model year 23 had increases after your order was accepted to the base trim plus a $100 add to the freight...

Once you order a MY24 to replace your un-built MY23, can you change the trim level after we know what the private offer will be? I ordered a MY23 base Lariat with a hitch for $29,355. I don't want all the Copilot 360 or lux stuff on the MY24. That's out of my budget. Thinking of downgrading to XLT with a hitch.
I think you will be able to change trims. If you go to XLT you will be utilizing the XLT difference for your private offer..not the Lariat. If you were to go from XLT to Lariat the private offer will be based on your original XLT trim. Seems fair.

I have built and priced way too many theoretical Mavericks since the initial build and price went live in 2021. So, now with this information, I again spent a couple of hours 'building' way too many theoretical Mavericks last night.

Basically, I am down to these two builds:

1). XLT AWD, 4K Tow, FX4, Azure Gray, XLT Lux, Co-pilot 360. Priced out at $35,075 retail.

2). Lariat AWD, 4K Tow, Azure Gray. Priced out at $37,690 retail

There is a difference of $2,615 between the builds. That is a lot of money IMO. But the Lariat comes with more desirable features such as B&O, push-button start, rear park, and spray-in liner instead of drop-in. I thought about dropping FX4 for the XLT (I want it for the different instrument HUD). That puts it at $3,415 difference. Hard decision for me.

This may be a bit of overkill but you knew what I meant. Having traveled the country in every sort of RV for the last 45 years I have leaned a few things to pass along.
