Some things I would love to see on a future Maverick:
Heated back window pane
Auto-folding mirrors
60/40 rear bench split (or similar)
Multi-tailgate
A Maverick 'Raptor'
A BEV Maverick
Vented Seats
Ability to upgrade infotainment/speakers on XLT trim
Not going to lie, this looks awesome. I am interested, but I would like to see and/or read a review before I purchase. I also would be curious to see if this upgrade would void the factory warranty I still have on my truck.
I paid just a smidge over $37k total price including all taxes, fees, etc for my 2024 XLT last year. The same build in a 2025 is $1,140 more BEFORE taxes and fees. The hybrid? Even more expensive (and I would lose the FX4 package).
I felt that I got in the Maverick game too late last year. I...
Avalanche was the better color after seeing Space White. I would have gotten the Tremor in Avalanche if the 2024 model offered it. Alas, I went with the FX4 and 4K tow instead (still bummed they also got rid of Area 51).
Two questions: How do you feel about trading one of the best Maverick colors (Avalanche)? How does the B&O sound compared to the stock XLT audio system? I have yet to be in a Maverick with B&O. One day, I want to compare the audio quality of the B&O against the standard stock as well as my...
I finally put my 2024 XLT FX4 to the test this year in the snow. Unfortunately, there was not a large amount of snow in my area last year when I bought the truck. I was amazed by how responsive and how efficient the handling of the Maverick was in the snow (our area had nearly 12 inches of...
Ben Hardy became literal click-bait. I used to watch him (occasionally) a few years ago. Now, his reviews are as cookie-cutter and generic as they come. Rarely are there critiques or insightful knowledge being relayed to the viewer.
Wow. I thought for sure that was an option a few years ago. I guess I was confused and compared it against the First Edition Package.
Still, I would have gone Lariat if the pricing reflected 2022 pricing. I paid $34,600 (plus taxes and fees) for my 2024 XLT FX4. I really loved the Area 51...
This past weekend I upgraded the front speakers and tweeters in my XLT. It took around four hours with my friend assisting me. Here were a few observations:
- The Powerbass speakers (60W) are clearly better than the factory stock (25W) speakers
- The plastic interior of the Maverick is...
I wish I was an early adopter. I had just recently bought a Ridgeline in 2021 however. In hindsight, I would have bought an Area-51 EB Lariat. I am happy with my 2024. Still, with the 2024 models, I wish I had a choice of Area-51 or Avalanche. I also have a minor regret of not getting the Lariat.
IMO, $1170 dollars a year for minor upgrades, a different engine, less HP, and a different stylistic design is not worth it. I guess, in your case, it *could* make sense if you were going off lease and were going to buy the 2025 outright.
I love the dial. Even before I owned the Maverick, I never understood the vitriol for it. I test drove a Maverick in early 2023 and I had no problem with it. IMO, the dial is the easiest thing to use.
Before the Maverick, I was coming from a Ridgeline, that had, gasp, buttons to put the truck...
Lmao. For all the hate the Maverick gets for 'not being a truck,' imagine the mental gymnastics you would have to do to convince yourself to buy a Santa Cruz 'truck.'
Holy crap dude! How did you manage to cop a Flash for that good of a deal?! I am jealous! I would be a Lightning owner if I had had the cash on hand to buy one (I don't take out vehicle loans). Congrats!
I have a smidge of buyer's remorse with my 2024! I guess I lucked out though - who would have thought Atlas Blue would become a unicorn?!
Does anyone know if Ford is keeping the stock audio system the same in the 2025? I have not seen information regarding the wattage of the standard audio...
I am eager to see if they update the stock sound system at all. I also wonder what the price differences will be compared to my 2024 build? I was not really wanting to wait around longer to get a Maverick, but I gotta say, I am pretty salty that they decided to unleash the AWD hybrid one year...
