Now we're gonna get the real bitch fest...

Lariat went up almost $2900. The 2023 Lariat + Lux+ full CP360 package was 31,965. The 2024 equivalents is $34,855 but at least you get a power sliding rear window...

Quick edit- forget to add in the CP360 feature set that's now standard. Still a big damn jump

So, I'm assuming the -$720 on the Lariat package is Ford's way to account for removed features?

Answered.

Lariat went up almost $4300. The 2023 Lariat + Lux was 30,565. The 2024 equivalents is $34,855 but at least you get a power sliding rear window...
Lariat Lux is standard now. Can't get Lariat without it.

Hmm. $1480 more for the XLT 4K I ordered this year.
Not as bad as anything with a hybrid. That's just normal inflation price increase there.

That's why I added them together to get an apples to apples comparison since you can't split it out anymore, forget to add in the CP360 package that's now standard (made an edit to reflect that) for the 2024.

2023 Maverick Lariat Hybrid Luxury Package + CP360 + CP360 Assist + spray-in bed liner + remote start -- $34,625
2023 Maverick Lariat EB AWD Luxury Package + CP360 + CP360 Assist + spray-in bed liner + remote start -- $36,845 (+$2,220 for AWD over 2023 EB FWD)

2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid base - $35,730 (+$1,105)
2024 Maverick Lariat EcoBoost AWD base - $36,450 (-$395)

So for a comparable hybrid, it's $1,105 more than the last 2023 pricing. Comparable EB is $395 less.

And that's if I'm not missing anything else.

Yes, I think the XLT is the sweet spot. Both my XLT's are being built this year.

If this is correct (and so is my math) my '23 XLT hybrid with Lux and BAP is $3835 more AND has no sliding window and a drop in POS liner I don't even want instead of a spray in! Doing the math the exact same set up in a Tremor is only $975 more!

Oops! Left the destination off the Tremor setup. It's actually $2570 more for a Tremor optioned the same.

Really got me thinking about doing an Escape instead as they are giving some decent incentives and lower financing rates plus higher X-plan discounts on them as well.

Also makes me want Toyota to hurry up and announce the Stout to see where they will align with Maverick.

Yeah, my MY23 build only went up $290 for MY24 and MY24 includes a SIBL and rails that I left off MY23. So, Lariat is fairly flat if you were already maxing it out.

The hybrid is only thing not accounted for in my EB price. So, Ford is obviously eating into the dealer mark-ups by making the hybrid a more premium option to begin with.

Thankfully my hybrid will be built in 3 weeks. Otherwise it would be a $2,300 price increase, and no sliding window or 400w outlet.

Are you comparing '23 FWD against '24 AWD? Otherwise, show us how you get to $31,965. I can't make that number happen.

I think if your MY2023 XLT build had a spray in bedliner (with free bed kit) and sliding rear window you are seeing the bite more... more of a function of packaging than price increases though. overall to build a comparable MY2024 XLT EB AWD my price is at about $3k more, so yeah 10% more.

Conversely, if you had a totally loaded Lariat, you might actually be paying less.
